Abstract

This article provide a study of theories and concepts regarding the election of Surabaya mayor 2015-2019. The approach used is a comprehensive study of political marketing by Lee Marshment in 2001. Surabaya became the object of the review in this article with various uniqueness of the socialization process of Mayor Election or Pilwali by installing countdown timers and various lanterns in the 2015 Pilwali Surabaya mascot to target beginner voters in Surabaya. Marketable Branding topics are a strategic issue because they involve the way a political institution in formulating a political product, arranging a campaign publication program and political communication, and a segmentation strategy to meet the needs of the society to the price calculation of a political product. The sociocultural conditions of a geographical and demographic area must also be taken into account in the segmentation and formulation of political issues. Surabaya was able to become a kind of role modeling in the preparation of SWOT branding politicians for other regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This phenomenological research aims to uncover textual digital communication practices involving netspeak and netlingo also forms of millennial consensual hallucinations on social media. The novelty of this research is the millennial generation category, which has new netiquette as a consensus. Research obtained through interviews with informants concluded the practice of textual communication. The first practice is netlingo, which produces a speech-language which is then turned into text, such as expressions of surprise that are modified in written form. The form of netspeak concluded from this research is capital letters to express communication emotions. Textual communication used on social media such as Instagram and Whatsapp cannot make a sound but has become a mass convention for social media users. This research puts the concept of netspeak and netlingo that can encourage consensual hallucinations. These hallucinations are in the form of the assumption that social media is a free and equal place, so there are no restrictions like the real world. Hallucinations for millennials are assumed to be equality in communication

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerimaan followers milenial akun @indonesiafeminis dalam memaknai konten literasi feminisme yang diunggah di akun tersebut. Penerimaan followers milenial tersebut dianalisis menggunakan analisis resepsi milik Stuart Hall. Sementara teori yang digunakan untuk membedah penelitian ini adalah Encoding-Decoding Stuart Hall. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam dengan lima informan followers milenial akun @indonesiafeminis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kelima informan yang penulis wawancara memiliki penerimaan dan pemaknaan berbeda mengenai beberapa konten literasi feminisme. Perbedaan penerimaan dan pemaknaan tersebut dikarenakan perbedaan latar belakang sosial, budaya, pengalaman, dan lingkungan.Kata-kata Kunci: Analisis Resepsi, Literasi Feminisme, Media Sosial, Instagram, @indonesiafeminis
