Abstract

Abstract : Based on field observation, it was clear that the serve of the students used to go out of the field and the ball used to be stuck on the net in a practise or an inter school match. It meant that the serve was not on the target or the students had a low accuracy of serving. The aim of the research was to see the correlation of the explosive power of arm muscle and shoulder in the accuracy of volleyball serve for senior high school Muhammadiyah Berti. The population of the research was 17 students who were still active to follow the practise. The collecting data technique was total sampling. According to the result of the analyses and the previous discussions, it concluded that the power of arm muscle and shoulder correlated to the result of the volleyball serve in senior high school Muhammadiyah Berti Pekanbaru.
