<![CDATA[Abstract: Transparency Information Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Batu City. The study was conducted on the basis of the many problems related to transparency of information. Transparency is one indicator of the formation of good governance. Related to the transparency of the emerging problems faced is related to how the transparency of  information of DPRD Batu City. The number of complaints from people who said that during this parliament lacked transparency. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative method using a case study approach. The results of this study, that the DPRD Batu City seeks to meet the transparency of information. This is shown by the activities carried out as a public test. On the other side of DPRD Batu City has not been  to maximize public access to the internet. DPRD of Batu city should maximize the function of the web so that people easily get information Batu City l activities. DPRD Batu city must aggressively in providing information to the public directly. Provision of such information not only through the web but can be through means such as billboards were installed in the area around Batu.  Keyword: Transparency, information, good governance.  Abstrak: Transparansi Informasi Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Kota Batu. Penelitian dilakukan atas banyaknya permasalahan terkait transparansi informasi. Transparansi merupakan indikator terbentuknya pemerintahan yang baik. Aspek transparansi muncul karena permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu bagaimana transparansi informasi di DPRD Kota Batu. Banyaknya keluhan dari masyarakat yang mengatakan bahwa selama ini DPRD kurang transparan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian, bahwa DPRD Kota Batu berusaha untuk memenuhi aspek transparansi informasi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya kegiatan yang dilakukan seperti uji publik. Disisi lain DPRD Kota Batu belum memaksimalkan akses kepada masyarakat seperti internet. DPRD Kota Batu seharusnya memaksimalkan fungsi web agar masyarakat mudah mendapatkan informasi kegiatan DPRD Kota Batu. DPRD Kota Batu harus gencar dalam memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat secara langsung. Pemberian informasi tersebut tidak hanya melalui web namun dapat melalui caraseperti baliho yang dipasang di daerah sekitar Kota Batu.  Kata kunci: transparansi, informasi, good governance.]]>
