Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi siswa berkesulitan belajar membaca menulis permulaan di SD. Desain penelitian ini dirancang dengan pendekatan eksperimental. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan alat bantu tes, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistic non parametrik "Uji Tanda" terhadap prestasi siswa berkesulitan belajar. Hasilnya adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan prestasi siswa dan diharapkan bermanfaat bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran yang efektif terhadap siswa berkesulitan belajar di SD.The study attempts to improve the achievement of students with difficulties in early reading and writing. The research is designed experimentally. To collect the data, instruments used are test, documentation and observation. The data are analyzed using non parametric statistics, Sign Test, to students with specific learning difficulties. The result shows that cooperative-learning TAI type improves the students achievement, so it is recommended that such a learning model be used to treat primary school students with learning problem.
