Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik pada anak berkebutuhan khusus di SD Inklusi, berbagai problematika dan upaya dalam menyelesaikannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, satu guru pembimbing khusus (GPK), satu guru kelas, dan satu anak tuna rungu di SDN Pucangan 2 Kecamatan Montong Kabupaten Tuban. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini memaparkan tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik, yaitu guru memberikan bimbingan khusus dengan menggunakan bahasa isyarat dan gerak bibir jelas dalam berkomunikasi, mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran, menggunakan metode, media pembelajaran dan sarana prasarana sesuai kebutuhan siswa. Problematika dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik meliputi minimnya pengetahuan guru dalam memahamibahasa isyarat lokal siswa, dan kesulitan dalam mengembangkan PPI serta keterbatasan dalam media dan sarana prasarana. Upaya guru dan pihak sekolah dalam mengatasi problematika dengan mengikuti KKG dan pelatihan-pelatihan yang diadakan pemerintah berkaitan dengan pendidikan inklusi serta mengajukan bantuan kepad pemerintah untuk pengadaan media dan sarana prasarana penunjang untuk peningkatan proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes after implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by audiovisual media. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Jaar Kec. East Hamlet, Kab. East Barito. The subjects of this research were students in class VI SD Semester 1 2023/2024 with a total of 11 students. The research instrument used test sheets, teacher activity observation sheets in carrying out learning, student activity observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative and quantitative descriptions. The results of the research show that the application of the Problem Based Learning Model assisted by audiovisual media to improve the Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Class VI Students at SDN 2 Jaar can improve the learning outcomes of class VI students at SDN 2 Jaar. In the pre-cycle, the average student achieved completeness in Mathematics with 6 students achieving a learning completion percentage of 55%. Meanwhile, after cycles I and II, the average student experienced an increase in Mathematics lesson completeness with students achieving learning completeness of 73% in Cycle I and 91% in Cycle II. From the data above it is known that the average student score has increased from pre-cycle 80.5 to 81 and 88.6 in cycles I and II respectively.

Abstract

This study aims to implement educational flashcard media to improve early reading skills in first-grade elementary school students, specifically in the subject of Indonesian Language with the theme “Personal Hygiene and Health.” The background of this research is based on the low reading motivation and initial reading abilities of early-grade students, along with the limited and conventional learning media used by teachers. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D), using the ADDIE development model which includes five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The research subjects consisted of 26 first-grade students from UPT Private Elementary School in Regency X. Data were collected using observation sheets, interviews, questionnaires, and reading tests. The results showed that the developed flashcard media was highly valid based on expert evaluations in content, media design, and language. It was also considered practical according to the responses from teachers and students. The effectiveness was demonstrated through significant improvement in students' reading scores, with more than 75% achieving scores above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). In conclusion, educational flashcard media is proven to be an effective, engaging, and interactive tool to support reading instruction in early grade levels, especially for improving word recognition, syllable decoding, and reading comprehension.
