Abstract

Kajian laboratorium ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui mekanisme pengaruh negatif hujan asam terhadap makrofauna tanah. Armadillidium vulgare yang merupakan salah satu makrofauna tanah pemakan seresah (saprofag) penting di Tokyo yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengaruh makanan, pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh medium yang direndam dengan cairan asam digunakan untuk mengetahui mekanisme ini. (1). Pengaruh makanan dilakukan dengan cara merendam seresah daun aoki (Aucuba japonica) dalam air atau air yang diberi cairan H2SO4 dengan pH 6,4, dan 2. Seresah ini diberikan pada A. vulgare sebagai makanan (2) Efek langsung dilakukan dengan cara meneteskan 1 ml air atau air yang diberi cairan H2SO4 langsung ke tubuh hewan setiap dua minggu. (3) Pengaruh medium dilakukan dengan merendam medium dalam air maupun air yang diberi cairan H2SO4. Pertumbuhan dan persen hidup A. vulgare dicatat. Pertumbuhan dan persen hidup A. vulgare yang diberi makan seresah yang rendam dalam larutan asam sangat rendah. Penetesan cairan asam pada tubuh A. vulgare secara langsung tidak berpengaruh negatif terhadap pertumbuhan dan persen hidup A. vulgare. Pertumbuhan A. vulgare tidak dipengaruhi oleh medium yang direndam dalam cairan asam, tetapi persen hidupnya sedikit berkurang. Pengaruh cairan asam secara tidak langsung melalui makanan lebih penting daripada pengaruh langsung. Hal ini disebabkan tubuh A. vulgare dilindungi kutikula yang tebal. Untuk taksa yang memiliki tubuh yang lunak pengaruh langsung mungkin juga penting.

Abstract

Earthworms feed exclusively on dead organic matter (OM). The earthworm population is regulated by organic matter availability and soil characteristics. The aim of the research was to investigate the effect of seasonal change to the abundance and biomass of earthworms in Wanagama I. Collection of the soil samples was conducted from a quadrangle 25 x 25x 25 cm with the depth of 0-10, 10-20 and 20-30 cm with 5 replications under stands of Glyricidae, Leucaena, Teak, Acacia, Eucalyptus and Mahogany. Soil samples were taken at rainy season (February), early dry season (July) and dry season (October) 2004. The earthworms were manually extracted from soil samples and the abundance was stated as number and biomass of dry weight. The result showed the abundance and biomass of earthworms were high only in February at the soil depth of 0-10 cm. The highest number of earthworm and biomass was found in Mahogany stand (224,000 individual.ha-1/105.6 kg.ha-1). Multiple linier regression analysis showed that abundance of earthworms was affected by soil moisture content, while the biomass of earthworms was affected by soil pH and bulk density (aeration).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the value Planting of strong character and care through social skills program in SMA Al Hikmah Surabaya. The research was conducted on students who take the program of social skills class XI in the school year 2014-2015 in the village Parerejo, Purwodadi, Pasuruan. Implementation of the research in May-June, 2015.This study used a qualitative method with a grounded theory approach. Research using instruments: (1) direct observation (2) field notes (3) interviews and (6) documentation. This study identified two themes in his research consisted of planting the value of strong character through a social skills program, and implantation on the character concerned with social skills program. Two themes are based on research goals predetermined and interconnected to form a theory of value investment of strong character and care. In this study, students follow a program of activities that instill values of toughness and concern to the students through several activities, namely home stay program residents, social service and leadership. From the research there is a positive response from the students to the values of strong character, especially in terms of attitude: to make an effort, enthusiasm, patience, perseverance, and a high work ethic. Similarly, there is a positive response to the values of the characters to care, especially in terms of attitude: helpful, respectful and civil, discipline, empathy, and unpretentious.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu program kerja dalam Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Tematik 2021 Unisnu Jepara. Program Kerja KKN Tematik 2021 Kelompok 59 ini mengadakan program kerja Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dengan mengangkat tema “Peningkatan Ekonomi Mandiri Melalui Alih Teknologi Hidroponik Untuk Warga Troso Kecamatan Pecangaan Kabupaten Jepara”. Di masa pandemic, pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat yang menuntut masyarakat untuk lebih banyak berada di rumah menjadikan alasan masyarakat membutuhkan skill ilmu pengetahuan untuk mengisi kegiatan dan memiliki nilai ekonomis. Dalam hal ini hidroponik menjadi satu solusi karena memiliki Teknik penanaman yang mudah dan efisien dalam penggunaan lahan sederhana di rumah sendiri. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan memperkaya skill warga Troso terkait Teknik penanaman sederhana media hidroponik yang memiliki nilai ekonomis bagi keluarga. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah; 1) penyuluhan 2) demonstrasi 3) pembuatan instalasi sederhana di lembah alam jepara sebagai media pembelajaran berlanjut. Sehingga antusiasme warga untuk ikut melaksnakan pelatihan ini dapat berlanjut.

Abstract

The forests of Papua are large enough to support a diverse range of flora and fauna and other natural resources such as mining materials. PT-Freeport Indonesia, one of the world's largest mining companies, has an ex-mining area (tailing) managed as a reclamation area. Regular biotic and abiotic factor interactions will aid in the success of reclamation efforts. Soil organisms, which act as decomposers, are biotic factors that contribute to soil fertility and bioindicator. Collembola is a soil microorganism that is very important in marginal soils and can help soil fertility naturally. This study aims to assess the differences between the Collembola communities in the tailings and plantation areas. The method employs a literature review, which refers to a literature review, and it uses secondary data from the PT-Freeport Indonesia Biodiversity and Reclamation Sub Division. Collembola population and diversity are classified as low in the tailings area, presumably due to limiting factors for the sub-alpine and alpine ecosystem types, making it longer. Unlike in the tailing area, the Collembola population and diversity are classified as moderate to high in the plantation area because of litter availability as a source of nutrients for Collembola activities.
