<![CDATA[AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi ekstrinsik dengan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 23 Dangin Puri Denpasar Utara Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian adalah ex-post facto bersifat korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 23 Dangin Puri Denpasar Utara Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 terdiri dari 67 siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebesar 67 siswa dijadikan sampel maka penelitian menggunakan studi populasi. Data yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah data motivasi ekstrinsik siswa dengan angket dan data kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa, yang dikumpulkan dengan metode pencatatan dokumen hasil UTS IPA semester II siswa kelas V. Metode analisis data mengunakan uji korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan yang signifikan dengan nilai korelasi = 0,591 termasuk dalam kategori cukup kuat, nilai KP = 34,93 %. Dan nilai sebesar 5,907. Nilai dengan db 65 pada taraf signifikan 5% adalah 2,000. Dari hasil analisis menunjukan nilai lebih besar dari (= 5,907 > = 2,000). Sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi ekstrinsik dengan kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 23 Dangin Puri Denpasar Utara Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018.Kata kunci: Motivasi ekstrinsik, kompetensi pengetahuan IPAAbstractThe purpose of this research is acknowledged the significant relation between the extrinsic motivation with the science subject competency in the class V SD Negeri 23 Dangin Puri Denpasar Utara in the year of academic 2017/2018. The research type is ex post facto, correlational. The research population is the whole of V class SD Negeri 23 Dangin Puri Denpasar Utara in the year of academic 2017/2018 which consist of 67 students. The research was using the population study because of the sum population that consisted of 67 students to be sampling. The data which was analyzed in this research consisted of student’s extrinsic motivation data with questionaires and student’s science subject competency which collected through the result of science subject middle semester test document achive method. The data analysis method was using the product moment correlation test. The result of the research has shown that there is a significant relation between rxy = 0,591 , which include in the strong category the KP = 34,93%. And the is aroud 5.907. while with the db 65 in the significant level 5% is 2,000. from the analysis result has shown that is more than ( = 5,907 > = 2,000). The resulted analyze that Ho was declined and Ha was accepted.
