Abstract

Man destructs and exploits nature and environment without or with giving  attention to the hurt or broken body of earth. Man is not wise toward nature and  environment. Does Philosophy could prevent the destructions, as it serves man to  become wise? Since philosophy turn away from earthly life, the world then hesitates to consult to philosophy in solving urgent problems. Basically, phi- losophy and ecology serve cooperation that results a strong relation between  knowledge and philosophy in this century. Philosophy as an alternative will not  rule out knowledge and religion roles. However, they are always in dialog. Like a  cycles, there is a need to each other support and logic explanation and cooperation  in facing life problems. The Ecology’s wisdom that is found in local wisdom,  ascetics of knowledge, and philosophy’s ethic are useful to be alternatives to  prevent nature and environment from destruction.

Abstract

Reinhold Niebuhr a Christian Protestant neo-orthodox wing yan, Niebuhr's view of man who was reported by the Bible higher than that. Niebuhr in addressing the diversity of prefer the attitude of pluralism. According to Niebuhr the development and fall of cultures and civilizations is caused by the absence of historical pluralism. The idea seems to lead to the formation of the unity of history. The core relationship of each civilization depict the unity of length in time. The essence of contemporary civilization relation to each other again describing the broad unity in the room, deeper unity is a real number.

Abstract

Hikayat Prang Sabi is a work produced by an Acehnese. It is comprised of calls for fighting in path of Allah (Jihad). The hikayat (tale) is based on Qur-an and Hadist. The discourse in this writing is metaphysical aspect that is constituted in. Its cosmology metaphysical aspect is another power that can influence life. The essence is to defend religion, Islam. Ecstatic metaphysical value is also revealed, that is the perfect beauty in the meeting with the highest reality (ilahi) which becomes the idea of those fighting in path of Allah.

Abstract

Michen Foucault is a philosopher who also speaks about art. He explains about the essential of disciplining body. He argues that disciplining body is very an important art for human life. A modern individual is a discipline one, in which body is the most essential in the process. A discipline body will result responsible and dutiful individual. Discipline is doing all obligations based on his own will. It is not a forcing obligation from outsider. The development of mastery on one’s own body is a historical momentum where art training human body was introduced.
