Abstract

ABSTRACTThis article will discuss the importance of quality education services and their implementation in education with the teacher as the executing subject. Service quality of education itself has a specific standard as the reference for the implementation of educational services that must be obey, this standard issued by the Ministry of Education in National Education Minister Regulation No. 15 in 2010 entitle with The Minimum Of Service Standards. This research was conducted by sending an email containing a questionnaire to some teachers at SMK 2 Langsa and MTS Galih Agung Lau Bakery in March 2016. The population is all teachers in the school and a sample of eight people. Based on the research results, the authors conclude that the condition of teachers in these schools understand enough about quality education services but do not know on Minimum Service Standards. Keywords: Minimum Service Standards, Quality of educational services

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah mahasiswa Sastra Inggris UISUmengerti dan memahami pembahasan pengembangan paragraf  dalam karya ilmiah, khususnya dalam mengemukakan ide, pendapat, gagasan, isi pikiran secara alamiah melalui tulisan yang teratur dan terorganisir sehingga pembaca dapat memahami isi tulisan melalui data yang tersedia yang memenuhi kriteria dalam pengembangan suatu paragraf pada tulisan karya ilmiah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu suatu prosedur penelitian yang menggunakan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau tulisan dari beberapa orang dan pelaku yang dapat diamati. Hasil yang dicapai bahwa masih banyak mahasiswa Sastra Inggris UISUyang belum memahami pembelajaran pengembangan paragraf dalam karya ilmiah. Agar mahasiswa yang belum memahami pembelajaran pengembangan paragraf dalam karya ilmiah, sebaiknya dilakukan pembelajaran ulang terhadap materi tersebut demi peningkatan pemahaman dalam pengembangan paragraf. Kata Kunci : Pengembangan Paragraf, Karya Ilmiah

Abstract

Abstract: Use of Scientific Word And Popular Word In Scientific Writing On Student.This paper discusses the use of the word scientific and popular word in the writing of scientific papers. Writing this article is motivated by the work of the authors observed among the students. Among students are very frequent confusion or kedilematisan in the use of Indonesian, especially those on the issue of the use of the word scientific and popular word. As intellectuals, students are expected to understand and differentiate what and how to say the word scientific and popular. The purpose of this study to determine the level of student understanding in the use of the word UMSU scientific and popular word in writing scientific papers and is also expected to provide input to further improve students' ability to use the word UMSU in scientific and popular word.
