Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by using the make a match learning model on the subject of changes in class VII material in Sibabangun 2 Public Middle School. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with two groups pre-test and post-test research designs. The population of this study was all class VII students, amounting to three classes. From the data analysis for the experimental class, pre-tests (46.50 ± 8.53) and post-tests (81.5 ± 7.85) were obtained. In the control class, pre-tests (32.7 ± 9.54) and post-tests were obtained (64.2 ± 11.41). Both data are normally distributed. The results of testing hypotheses using the one-party t test at = 0.05 and dk = 48 obtained tcount> ttable or 4.513> 2.154 then Ha is accepted, Improving student learning outcomes after being given treatment of the make a match learning model is better than conventional learning on the subject discussion of Material Changes. Keywords: Make a Match, Learning Outcomes, Learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether STAD type cooperative learning is better than conventional learning models in improving student chemistry learning outcomes on the subject of atomic structure in class X SMA 1 Sibabangun. This research is an experimental research. The population in this study was all students of class X SMA 1 Sibabangun consisting of 3 classes. The research sample was selected 2 classes randomly, namely class X-1 as the experimental class using cooperative learning type STAD and class X-2 as the learning control class using conventional learning. From the data analysis for the experimental class, pre-tests (20.65 ± 6.47) and post-tests (90.8 ± 7.35) were obtained. In the control class, pre-tests (34.60 ± 8.45) and post-tests were obtained (70.55 ± 10.37). The results of testing the hypothesis by using the one-party t test at = 0.05 and dk = 62 obtained tcount>ttable or 4.425> 2.034 then Ha is accepted, Improving student learning outcomes after being given learning treatment Type STAD is better than conventional learning on the subject structure atom class X SMA Negeri 1 SibabangunKeywords: Implementation, Cooperative Type STAD, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop an integrated science practicum guide with the theme of inquiry-based photosynthesis for junior high school students with student learning outcomes and activities. This research is a Research and Development research with small-scale trials in class VIII A and large scale at VIIIB. The results showed that the practical guide was valid and feasible to use by obtaining an average score of> 3.2 from each expert. After calculating the n gain formula, the classical gain n value is 0.56 (moderate), with the classical completeness percentage is 100%. The results of the analysis of students' understanding using practicum guides have been developed with an average of 83.84. Meanwhile, the understanding of students who did not use the practicum guide that had been developed obtained an average of 62.20. This shows that the understanding of students using the practicum guide that was developed is higher than without using the practicum guide that has been developed. The results of student activity increased after the second meeting with an average of 85.47% of students belonging to the "active" and "very active" categories. So it can be concluded that the integrated science practicum guide for inquiry-based photosynthesis for junior high school students has proven valid and suitable for use in learning. Keywords: Research and Development (R & D), Inquiry, Practicum Guide

Abstract

This study aims to produce a certain product or develop an existing product and test its effectiveness. Research and development procedure include stages: Potential and problems; Data collection; Product design; Design validation; Design revisions; Product I trial; Product I revision; Trial usage; Product Revision II; Mass product. The results of the analysis of teaching materials that have been developed on the subject matter of additives and addictive substances based on BSNP on aspects of content worthiness with a mean of 3.65, aspects of language worthiness with a mean of 3.70, aspects of the feasibility of serving with a mean of 3.60 are valid and do not need revision, the meaning is very decent. The results of the analysis of students' understanding of using material that has been developed obtained an average of 80.21. Meanwhile, the understanding of students who did not use teaching materials that have been developed obtained an average of 65.00. This shows that the understanding of students using teaching materials that are developed is higher than without using teaching materials that have been developed. Keywords: Research and Development (R & D, Guided Inquiry, Curriculum 2013.
