Abstract

Jalan Duren Tiga Selatan, Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta merupakan jalan yang cukup ramai karena dikelilingi oleh usaha masyarakat dan termasuk daerah komersil sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya aktifitas kendaraan yang cukup padat pada jam kerja maupun pulang kerja. Maka penelitian ini dibuat bertujuan untuk memberikan upaya perbaikan kondisi awal sehingga adanya pengurangan konflik yang signifikan di masa yang akan datang, mengetahui tingkat pelayanan lalu lintas, dan mengetahui seberapa besar panjang antrian yang terjadi di setiap lengan pada jam sibuk. Metode yang dipakai untuk melakukan penelitian yaitu dengan mendatangkan secara langsung lokasi yang akan diteliti untuk merekam melalui handphone dan secara manual untuk mendapatkan data volume kendaraan lalu lintas di perempatan tersebut sesuai jam puncak yang terjadi yaitu pukul 06.00 – 09.00 WIB, pukul 11.00 – 13.00 WIB dan juga pukul 16.00 – 19.00 WIB, dimana pengamatan dilakukan dari hari Senin hingga Minggu. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan yaitu pada lengan utara dan selatan nilai DJ 0,98 melebihi syarat ketentuan sehingga perlu adanya upaya perubahan kriteria desain seperti mengubah ketentuan fase isyarat, memperlebar jalur pendekat, dan menerapkan manajemen lalu lintas tertentu disesuaikan dengan kondisi masing-masing lengan sehingga didapatkan alternatif solusi untuk meminimalisir panjang antrian pada persimpangan Duren Tiga Selatan.

Abstract

Among various kinds of alternative building material products used as cover or hardening of soil surface, Paving blocks are products that are in great demand by consumers. As a covering material and ground surface hardening, Paving blocks are widely used for various purposes, ranging from hardening and beautifying road sidewalks, road hardening, hardening of parking areas, and can even be used in special areas such as container ports and airports. This is because Paving blocks have advantages from other products in terms of shape, size, color and style. In addition, Paving blocks can be combined with other cover materials. Considering the use of Paving blocks that are quite extensive, it is necessary to have alternative substitute materials that can reduce the use of natural materials due to increased physical infrastructure development but are environmentally friendly. One of the eco-friendly Paving block alternatives is by utilizing plastic bottle waste packaging as mineral water as sand substitution material as well as green seashell waste and glass bottle waste as cement substitution material in making Paving blocks. In this study samples were made by comparing the composition of plastic bottle waste packaging of mineral water, seashell waste and glass bottle waste with 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% substitution treatment of the dry weight of Paving blocks. The test results showed that the optimum mixture variation was found in a mixture with a variation of 10% of plastic bottle waste packaging of mineral water + 10% of seashell waste with a compressive strength of 12.8 MPa and a percentage of water absorption at 28 days of 2.63%. Where the results of the variations in Paving blocks are categorized into quality C which can be used for pedestrians.Keywords : Paving Blocks, Waste, Compressive Strength.

Abstract

The highway where the planning and manufacturing, to provide safety, comfort, safety and efficiency, but there's also the incidence of traffic accidents on the highway. By looking at the large number of accidents in Indonesia's road safety must be viewed comprehensively on all aspects of planning, the work of making a road which is the design direction and visualization of trace roads for the road meet the requirements of safe, secure, comfortable, efficient. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that cause potential traffic accidents linked to road planning so as to provide proposals and suggestions relating to the improvement of traffic safety in order to reduce the accident rate in terms of planning the road. This study begins with identifying the causes of traffic accidents with survey method / descriptive. Were analyzed with SPSS version 21 to find a relationship between a number of variables of the potential causes of traffic accidents were originally mutually independent of each other, namely human variables (the driver), vehicle, road and environment, so that it can be made one or more sets of variables are dominant of the number of initial variables. As a case study, a study conducted diruas road Ciasem - Pamanukan Subang Regency, West Java. Results of the study are three major types of cross-sectional ranking of frequent road accidents by type of vehicle and the factors that cause accidents often occur, as follows: 1) .Types sectional intersection cornering, 2) .Types cross section of straight road intersection and 3 ) .Jalan straight amid residential or public facilities.

Abstract

Waste glass is often the trash unused and potentially damaging to the environment because it is difficultto decompose. Though glass waste has the potential to be used, one of them as a substitute for cement inconcrete solid brick. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the addition of glasspowder waste of compressive strength of concrete solid brick. Manufacture of solid concrete brick made fromwaste fine aggregate, cement PC type I, and glass powder from waste glass bottles. Test object of research ismade with a composition ratio of cement, fine aggregate and water with glass powder 4 substitution treatmentwere 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% by weight of cement. Compressive strength testing is done on day 7,14, 21 and28. From the test results obtained optimum compressive strength value contained in glass powder ratiovariation of 10% of the cement with the compressive strength obtained at 73.33 Kg / cm2 and included intothe Tertiary quality II. This shows the glass powder can be used as an additive in the manufacture of solidconcrete brick so that it can be used as an alternative to environmentally friendly construction materials.
