Abstract

Burnout merupakan keadaan keletihan (exhaustion) fisik dan emosional sehingga menyebabkan stres yang bersumber dari proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara burnout full day school dengan tingkat stres pada siswa kelas X SMAK Frateran Malang. Desain penelitian menggunakan korelatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 61 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 53 orang diambil menggunakan simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan chi square. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa lebih dari separuh responden mengalami burnout kategori tinggi yaitu sebanyak 36 responden (67,9%), lebih dari separuh responden memiliki tingkat stress dengan kategori berat yaitu sebanyak 40 responden (75,5%). Analisis chi square dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 (p value ≤ 0,05) yang berarti ada hubungan antara burnout full day school dengan tingkat stres pada siswa kelas X di SMAK Frateran Malang. Kesimpulan semakin tinggi burnout belajar siswa maka semakin berat pula tingkat stres yang dialami siswa. Saran Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan meningkatkan karakteristik dari responden sehingga menggambarkan fenomena burnout dan stres pada siswa yang belajar pada sistem full day school. Burnout is a state of physical and emotional exhaustion that causes stress that comes from the learning process. This study aims to determine the relationship between full day school fatigue and stress levels in class X Frateran Malang students. The study design uses correlative. The population in this study was 61 students. The sample used was 53 people taken using simple random sampling. Data analysis using chi square. The results found that more than half of respondents experienced high category burnout of 36 respondents (67.9%), more than half of respondents have stress levels with a heavy category that is as many as 40 respondents (75.5%). Chi square analysis with a significant value of 0,000 (p value ≤ 0.05) which means there is a relationship between burnout full day school with stress levels in class X students at SMAK Frateran Malang. In conclusion the higher the student's fatigue learning, the more severe the stress level experienced by students. Researcher's suggestion is then expected to improve the characteristics of respondents so that they describe the phenomenon of fatigue and stress in students who study in the full-day school system.
