Abstract

Usia toddler merujuk konsep periode kritis dan plastisitas yang tinggi dalam proses tumbuh kembang, maka usia 1-3 tahun sering disebut sebagai kesempatan emas. Melalui program Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB) diharapkan orang tua dapat terlibat untuk memantau perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterlibatan orang tua dalam mengikuti bina keluarga balita terhadap kemampuan motorik anak usia todller. Desain penelitian ini adalah ”Case Control”. Sampling yang digunakan adalah ”Quota sampling” dengan sampel berjumlah 24 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan motorik anak dari orang tua yang mengikuti Bina Keluarga Balita, setengahnya baik, yaitu 50% (7 orang), kemampuan motorik anak dari orang tua yang tidak mengikuti Bina Keluarga Balita, sebagian besar kurang, yaitu 60% (6 orang). Hasil analisis statistik dengan uji t-test design, α (0,05), diperoleh nilai p-value 0,014 < (α) 0,05, sehingga ada pengaruh keterlibatan orang tua dalam mengikuti bina keluarga balita terhadap kemampuan motorik anak usia toddler. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya, hasil dari penelitian ini sebagai dasar acuan untuk penelitian lanjutan yang berkaitan dengan masalah penelitian ini. ABSTRACT Age todller refers to the concept of critical periods and high plasticity in the growth process, then aged 1-3 years are often referred to as a golden opportunity. Pass through the education family of children under five years program is expected so that parents are involved to monitor the child's development. This research aims to determine the effect of parental involvement in following education family of children under five years against childhood todller motor ability. Design of this research is "Case Control". The independent variable in this research is Parental Involvement in Following Education Family of Children Under Five Years, and the dependent variable is Childhood Todller Motor Ability. The sampling used is ”Quota sampling” with samples was numbered 24 people. Data collection was conducted on 23 to 28 September 2014, used a questionnaire Pre-Screening Developments. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the childhood todller motor ability from parents who follow BKB a half good, i.e. 50.0% (7 people), the childhood todller motor ability from parents who do not follow BKB were mostly less, i.e. 60% (6 people). From the results of the statistical analysis with t-test design, α (0.05), acquired p-value of 0.014 α 0.05, so there is an significant effect of parental involvement in following education family of children under five years against childhood todller motor ability. Advice for further researchers, the result of this research as a basic reference for further research be related to the research problem.
