Abstract

Penyakit gigi dan mulut memiliki tingkat prevalensi tertinggi pada anak usia sekolah di Indonesia. Keterampilan cara menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar merupakan faktor yang cukup penting untuk pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Ibu berperan penting dalam mengajarkan cara menyikat gigi pada anak. Aplikasi Sayang ke Buah Hati (SEHATI) diharapkan dapat membantu ibu dalam menerapkan cara menyikat gigi yang benar kepada anak-anaknya. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh penerapan aplikasi SEHATI terhadap pengetahuan ibu dan menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dan keterampilan anak tentang cara menyikat gigi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasi-experiment yang berbentuk one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu dan anak SD Uchuwwatul Islam di Kota Bandung berjumlah 33 ibu dan 33 anak yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan tidak termasuk kriteria eksklusi. Pengetahuan ibu sebelum dan setelah penerapan aplikasi SEHATI diukur menggunakan kuesioner dan keterampilan anak diukur menggunakan ceklis. Penelitian dilakukan selama 2 minggu terhitung tanggal 22 Februari–7 Maret 2017. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan uji Spearman ro. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh penerapan aplikasi SEHATI berbasis android pada ibu terhadap pengetahuan (p<0,001) dan terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dan keterampilan anak tentang cara menyikat gigi (p<0,001). Simpulan, terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu dan keterampilan anak tentang cara menyikat gigi sebelum dengan sesudah penggunaan aplikasi SEHATI. SAYANG KE BUAH HATI (SEHATI) APPLICATION USAGE ON MOTHER’S KNOWLEDGE AND IMPACT TO THE CHILDREN’S SKILL ABOUT BRUSHING TEETHDental and oral diseases have a high prevalence in children at school age in Indonesia. The skill of appropriately and correctly brushing teeth becomes a somewhat important factor for maintaining dental and oral health. Mothers have an important role in teaching children how to brush teeth. Sayang ke Buah Hati (SEHATI) application is expected to help mothers apply the correct way of brushing teeth to their children. The research aimed at analyzing the effect of the use of SEHATI application on mother’s knowledge and the correlation between mother’s knowledge and children’s skill about how to brush teeth. The quasi-experimental design used was one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjects were all mothers and children at Uchuwwatul Islam Elementary School in Bandung, consist of 33 mothers and 33 children. Mothers’ knowledge before and after the use of SEHATI application was measured using questionnaire, while children’s skill was measured using a checklist. The study was conducted for 2 weeks from 22 February–7 March 2017. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test and Spearman rho test. Results of this research show that there was an effect of SEHATI application android-based on mother’s knowledge (p<0.001) and there was a correlation between mother’s knowledge and children’s skill about how to brush teeth (p<0.001). In conclusion, there are differences of mothers’ knowledge and the children’s skill about how to brush teeth before and after SEHATI application usage.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a menstrual disorder caused by an imbalance of the hormone progesterone in the blood. The incidence of dysmenorrhea 45-95% among women of childbearing age, occurs in adolescents who lack sports. The impact of dysmenorrhea is the percentage of attendance at college and not participating in learning. One way to deal with pain is yoga. This study aims to analyze the effect of yoga on dysmenorrhea. The study design was a quasi-experimental one-group pre-post test design. The sample in this study was 33 female students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The instrument used to measure the scale of pain during menstruation uses the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). The collected data tested for normality data, and the data is normal, then the statistical test is done using repeated Anova test. The analysis showed that there were differences in pain scale before and after months 1 and 2 interventions with mean (sb) pain scale (5.8 (1.6) vs. 4.0 (1.7) vs. 2.7 (1.3) and P <0.05). The study concludes that yoga affects the decrease in pain scale during dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Iron nutrition anaemia in adolescents is still a problem in Indonesia, where The need for iron and folic acid tablets in adolescents increases due to their growing period and having menstruation every month. Based on the results of Riskesdas 2018, 32% prevalence of anaemia occurs in adolescents as a result of a lack of food intake of iron sources. Various attempts were made to prevent and control anaemia but still Low awareness of young women about the importance of consuming iron and folic acid tablets as a measure to prevent anaemia. The result of a deficiency in haemoglobin levels causes symptoms of lethargy, fatigue and fatigue when doing activities which will have an impact on decreased concentration and learning achievement, and in the long term will affect the quality of human resources. The purpose of this study was to analyze the knowledge of young women about the consumption of iron and folic acid tablets with the incidence of anaemia in the female boarding school model STIKBA Jambi. Research design was cross-sectional, the population used in this study were young women in model dormitories, simple random sampling technique, the measuring instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets as well as measuring instruments for haemoglobin (Hb) examination in the digital. The collected data were analyzed using the Chi-Square statistical test. The results showed that 65% of adolescents had high knowledge about the consumption of iron (Fe) tablets, and 80% had anaemia. The reasons for adolescents not taking iron (Fe) tablets included 50% because of the colour of the pills, 90% because of the smell of the drugs, 100% because of nausea, 75% because they don't feel any complaints of anaemia, and 65% because they have difficulty defecating. The results of the statistical analysis showed no relationship between knowledge of iron (Fe) tablet consumption and anaemia (p value> 0.05). Knowledge that the consumption of iron and folic acid tablets does not affect the incidence of anaemia and the reason young women do not consume iron and folic acid tablets is because of the side effects that arise after consuming the iron and folic acid tablets, and there are no symptoms of anaemia.
