Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini berkeinginan untuk memahami aspek-aspek yang melatar belakangi bagaimana suatu kesenian tradisi yaitu Kesenian Senjang yang berasal dari Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan dikadikan sebagai sarana Propaganda sehingga mengalami pergeseran fungsi. Oleh karena itu artikel ini berusaha menjelaskan pergeseran fungsi yang dimaksud yang awalnya Kesenian Senjang digunakan sebagai sarana hiburan menjadi sarana propaganda untuk menyampaikan misi tertentu dari pengguna jasa Kesenian Senjang. Selain itu menjelaskan Kesenian Senjang dalam konteks sosial-budaya masyarakat Musi Banyuasin, mendeskripsikan bentuk Kesenian Senjang, pemaknaannya sampai pada fungsinya.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tekhnik analisis interpretasi dan pendekatan kebudayaan, dan oleh karena itu menggunakan data kualitatif di mana peneliti sebagai instrumen utama dalam pengumpulan data. Sumber data yang menjadi sasaran penelitian adalah visual penyajian Senjang dan rekaman audio visual Senjang di Sekayu ibukota kabupaten Muba. Selain itu metode etnografi juga digunakan dengan pendekatan emik dan etik guna menemukan permasalahan yang sebenarnya terjadi.Senjang Musi Banyuasin adalah subjek utama dari penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif interpretatif dalam pengolahan data, menganalisis keberlangsungan Senjang dari masa ke masa yang mengalami perubahan baik bentuk maupun fungsinya. Senjang yang pada awal keberadaannya memiliki bentuk yang sederhana tanpa instrumen musik, terus bergerak dan berkembang mengikuti arus zaman sampai pada era saat ini. Tampilan Senjang sudah lebih pada komersial tergantung keinginan pengguna jasa. Fungsi Senjang dimanfaatkan sebagai media propaganda bagi penguasa. Senjang masih eksis dan memiliki tempat tersendiri di hati masyarakat kabupaten Musi Banyuasin.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe article entitled “Vocal Pronunciation in Chorus Harmonizing in SMK Muhammadiyah I Palembang “ is an analysis of the research of potential belonging to Muhsapa Voice members a high school choir in the vocal pronunciation to form the harmony of a choir group. The correct vocal pronunciation is how to form goodvowels in creatingneeded voices in choir and to form harmonies that do not use wertern musical concepts. The writer raises several questions in his formulated problems related to: (1) the avility to create a natural vical harmony. (2) the cocal pronunciation forproducing prime voice pronouns. (3) the benefits derived in the musical potential for choir anngioners. The study employed qualitative approach with the concept of phenomenology, ethnography, and the theory of musical harmony. The result of this study will be this: (1) the potential musical wings to produce powerful vowels and harmonies of correct vowels. (2)  their potential can be used as a meanes for developing individual talents.  Keywords:  chorus, harmony, voice excellence, vocal pronunciation, prime vowels.

Abstract

Panggih is one of the woven craft artists who are already famous in East OKU Regency because of his peculiarity in making works in the form of "Peci from banana tree fronds". Not only in the district environment, h work is sold, but there are also many orders from outside the city and even the province. ina intends to develop craft art in Belitang, so that cra artworks are not extinct and there are future generations. The purpose of this research is to reflect on and introduce how the figure of a 'Panggih' works in the world of Fine Arts. This research is qualitative, describing how a woven craft artist named Panggih creativity, made artwork based o banana tree fronds. Furthermore, this research tells how panggih's creative process becomes a craft artist? What craft artwork was created by Pangg and the specialty of the artwork created by Panggih? And how is t process of making the craft artwork "Peci" by Panggih? This is what w be explained in this study. Wallas's theoretical thoughts about the creative process, combined with Anna Cra  thoughts on the circle of creative processes were used in this research. It is hoped that the results of this study can foster the interest and talent of the younger generation in East OKU and be able to pass on what has been done by Panggih so that the Kriya A made from banana tree fronds becomes a strong identity for Panggih work for the East OKU Community.

Abstract

Currently, angklung music has become part of ensemble music that can be taught to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels as a form of appreciation for traditional Indonesian music. Therefore, through this research, the technique of playing angklung will be developed with the Kodaly method with the concept of Berkawan and Kawan Berkawan so that later it can display a form of musical presentation packaged in the form of a similar music ensemble. This research is qualitative, using the Research and Development approach from Borg and Gall, by discussing matters related to melody science, the laws of harmony in songs applied in choirs, tone symbols (the use of fingers), the Kodaly method with the development of the concept of Berkawan and Kawan Berkawan, and song notation. The initial stage is the observation of the Kodaly Method, then analyzing the shape of the Kodaly Method symbol with the application of the concept of Berkawan and Kawan Berkawan, then trying to apply it to several grade VII students of SMP Negeri Belitang Jaya from these methods and concepts. In the end, it is hoped that the Kodaly Method with the concept of Berkawan and Kawan Berkawan can be applied and taught to students as the best solution for playing Angklung Music easily. The results of this study revealed that the application of the Kodaly (hand sign) method in angklung learning can improve the ability to read notation to students and is a practical and effective method for students of SMPN 2 Belitang Jaya. It can be seen that the concept of Berkawan with two voices and Kawan Berkawan with three voices is very effective and practical in understanding the technique of playing angklung quickly. So that the application of the Kodaly method can be developed through the concept of Berkawan and Kawan Berkawan
