Abstract

Sistem Informasi Alumni merupakan aset berharga bagi lembaga pendidikan dan universitas dalam memantau prestasi dan perkembangan alumni mereka. Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan Sistem Informasi Alumni yang dibangun berbasis web dengan menerapkan Metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Pendekatan RAD memungkinkan pengembangan sistem yang cepat dan responsif, sesuai dengan kebutuhan stakeholder.Sistem yang dihasilkan memungkinkan para alumni untuk mendaftar, mengelola profil pribadi mereka, dan berbagi prestasi serta pengalaman mereka dengan komunitas alumni dan lembaga pendidikan. Selain itu, staf universitas dan administrator dapat dengan mudah mengakses dan memanfaatkan data alumni untuk keperluan pelacakan dan pelaporan. Penelitian ini mencakup tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil dari pengembangan sistem ini adalah alat yang efisien dan efektif untuk memperkuat hubungan antara alumni dan lembaga pendidikan, serta membantu universitas dalam memantau kontribusi alumni terhadap masyarakat dan kemajuan akademik mereka. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat positif dalam memajukan pengelolaan data alumni dan interaksi mereka dengan universitas.

Abstract

Excel is a Microsoft application that is widely used to record financial transactions in several institutions. However, many of its uses are not optimal. First, the transactions are recorded in a notebook and then transferred to an excel file. This way makes people do the same work twice, so it is relatively longer and tiring. This also happened to the Subang Insan Bina Foundation, so that the performance of a finance department became more complex and allows wasted work time. Therefore, the purpose of developing this financial management information system is to replace a system that is still fairly conservative so the task can be shorter, neatly and stored properly. The method applied to build this system is to adopt the V model because this model is very suitable for an information system project that has clear software requirements specifications. This information system uses the MVC concept with the CodeIgniter framework and bootstrap template. The establishment of an information system for managing foundation funds is a product of our research application so that with this new system the use of notebooks and double recording is no longer needed, thus the finance department will be faster in reporting foundation funds.
