Abstract

In this globalization era, all companies are required to maximize the performance of company employees. One of them is the Bakti Medan General Hospital which is one of the hospitals from the Foundation. The decline in patient visits in recent times is thought to be due to poor performance due to several factors, one of which is motivation and training. This study aims to find out: The influence of work motivation and job training on employee performance at Bakti Medan General Hospital. This study used a cross-sectional study. This research is population research. The population in this study were all employees at Bakti Medan General Hospital totaling 80 employees. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. Before conducting the prerequisite analysis test, the instrument is tested by testing the validity and reliability test first. The results show that there are 31 valid questionnaire items Before carrying out data analysis, a prerequisite for analyzing is carried out which includes: linearity test and classical assumption test. Hypothesis testing is done by simple regression test. The results showed that: (1) There was a significant effect of Work Motivation on Employee Performance at Bakti Medan General Hospital which was indicated by the regression coefficient value of 0,128 and significant values seen from p value of 0.030 <0.05. (2) There is no effect of Job Training on Employee Performance at Bakti Medan General Hospital which is indicated by significant values seen from p value of 0.047 < 0.05 and regression coefficient of 0.138.
