Abstract

According to the WHO, maternal mortality is very high. About 830 women die from pregnancy or childbirth complicationsworldwide every day. It is estimated that in 2015, about 303,000 women died during and after pregnancy and childbirth.Almost all of these deaths occur and most can be prevented, with the concern of health workers and the community itself.This study aims to find out the Relationship of Knowledge and Attitudes of Pregnant Women About Adherence Taking Fetablets to prevent anemia in Pregnancy at Juliana Clinic in 2020. This study is descriptive analytical with a cross sectionalapproach, where the entire population is sampled, namely pregnant women as many as 35 people. Analyze the data usingthe chi-square statistical test. The results showed that of the 35 respondents the majority who had good knowledge as manyas 16 respondents (45.71%) had a positive attitude as many as 13 respondents (37.14%, while a minority of knowledgeablerespondents quite 7 respondents (20%) had a positive attitude 3 respondents (8.5%). From the statistical test using the chisquaretest obtained a value of p = 0.10. where p<005 so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected which means there is asignificant relationship between knowledge and attitude of pregnant women about compliance with taking Fe tablets inpreventing anemia in pregnancy at Juliana Medan Clinic in 2020. It is recommended on the implementation of healthservices to improve the quality of health services by providing counseling to pregnant women, especially about compliancewith taking Fe tablets.

Abstract

Every child has the right to live, grow, develop and participate reasonably, protected from violence and discrimination.They are also entitled to health and social security services in accordance with physical, mental, spiritual and social needs,as stated in Child Protection Law No. 23 of 2002. Toddlers are children aged 0-59 months, at this time characterized by avery rapid process of growth and development, accompanied by changes that require more nutrients with high quality.Monitoring of toddler growth should still be implemented through various alternative efforts to ensure toddlers are nutritionallybalanced for their developmental and growth needs. The purpose of this study was to find out the mother's behavior towardsbalanced nutritional needs in toddlers. This study is deskrictive by using primary data and secondary data obtained throughinterviews of respondents using questionnaires where the sample number is as many as 80 respondents. Data that has beencollected, processed by providing values and presented using distribution tables. Based on the results of this study showedthat, the majority of respondents are quite knowledgeable, namely as many as 25 respondents (40.32%), a well-roundedminority of respondents, which is as many as 15 respondents (24.19%). The majority of respondents were negative, with 41(66.13%), the minority being positive, with 21 respondents (33.87%). The majority did not take action, namely as many as 39respondents (62.91%), and the minority who took action, namely as many as 23 respondents (37.09%). It is expected to thecommunity to pay attention to the nutritional needs of toddlers by frequent consultation with health workers in order to gainknowledge about balanced nutritional needs in toddlers, so that toddlers' nutritional needs will be met.

Abstract

The design of research on Maternal Behavior about the Utilization of Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) for Toddlers InDusun III Klumpang Village, Perak Kabupataen Deli Serdang Sub-District In 2020 is descriptive in the form of observationand the approach used is Cross Sectional. The population in this study was all mothers who had toddlers as many as 62respondents, The sample in this study was using the total sampling of all mothers who had toddlers as many as 62respondents. From the results of the study obtained from 62 respondents, a well-knowledgeable majority of 32 respondents(51.7%), and a knowledgeable minority of 11 reponden (17.8%), a positive majority of 47 respondents (75.8%) and a minorityof negative respondents (24.4%). the majority of the 51 respondents (82.2% ) and mothers who did not take action (17.8%).the majority of mothers were 35 respondents (56.4%), mothers with less behavior as much as 12 respondents (19.4%). It isrecommended for mothers who have toddlers to be more active in visiting, seeking information and listening to anycounseling provided by health workers to increase knowledge especially about posyandu.

Abstract

Breastfeeding is an activity that can bring happiness to the mother, which is her nature. To support the success of breastfeeding, it is necessary to know the correct breastfeeding technique. Breastfeeding with improper technique can result in sore nipples. The research design on “The Relationship between Knowledge and Attitude of Postpartum Mothers About Correct Breastfeeding Techniques at the Juliana Dlimunthe Clinic Medan in 2022 is descriptive in the form of observation and the approach used is Cross Sectional. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers who gave birth at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic, Medan as many as 30 respondents. The sample in this study was using total sampling, namely all postpartum mothers who gave birth at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic, Medan, namely 30 respondents. From the results of the study obtained from 30 respondents, the majority who have sufficient knowledge about the correct breastfeeding technique are 14 respondents (46.7%). And the minority with good knowledge are 7 respondents (23.3%) while the attitude of postpartum mothers about the correct breastfeeding technique mostly has a positive attitude as many as 19 respondents (63.3%), while those who have a negative attitude are 11 respondents (36.7% ). Based on the calculation of the Chi-Square test analysis, it is known that the significant p value is 0.004. Because the p value is smaller than 0.05 (0.004 <0.05), the hypothesis is accepted so that in this study there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes of postpartum mothers about correct breastfeeding techniques at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic, Medan in 2022.
