Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research that aims to determine the learning interest of fourth grade students at SDN 13 Biru, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. Data was collected by means of in-depth interviews. The analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Students' learning interest can be seen from several descriptors, namely, when sending / depositing assignments, asking / not asking students, facial expressions, having personal cellphones or not, neatness of student books, neatness of student writing, and recording learning material. The results of this study indicate that the learning interest of fourth grade students at SDN 13 Biru, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era is already fairly good because students always send or deposit assignments before the deadline, students always ask questions, students are always happy and excited, students have neat books and neat writing that is easy to read and students always take notes on the learning materials given by the teacher.

Abstract

Abstract; The problem in this study is that the role of the school committee in managing school facilities and infrastructure is still not optimal. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research that describes the role of the school committee as a giver of considerations, supporters, controllers and mediators in Elementary School cluster V, Sibulue District, Bone Regency. The subjects in this study were the head of the school committee, the principal, and the teacher. data collection was done by interview method. The results of this study 1) As a giver of consideration, namely preparing a joint work program with the school and providing input in the elimination of facilities and infrastructure. 2) As a supporter, namely providing support in the form of energy, thought and finance, 2) As a controller, namely monitoring the funds that have been allocated for repairing school facilities and checking the condition of facilities and infrastructure, 3) As a mediator, namely conveying public opinion to the school, and as a bridge for funds from students' parents and the community. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the school committee has carried out its role but still needs to be optimized, such as providing encouragement and motivation to parents and the community to provide support in helping to improve the quality of facilities and infrastructure. With the optimal role of the school committee, it is very helpful for schools to improve the quality of school facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: Role; School Committee; Facilities and Infrastructure

Abstract

The problem in this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the WhatsApp application in online learning for fourth grade students at SDN 139 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. Data was collected by means of in-depth interviews. Data reduction analysis techniques, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The effectiveness of the use of WhatsApp in online learning can be seen from six descriptors, namely, (1) students' motivation to participate in learning, (2) independence in completing assignments, (3) completion time of assignments/sending assignments, (4) quality of work done, (5) mastery of the material, (6) and character building. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of using the Whatsapp application in online learning for fourth grade students at SDN 139 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era is quite effective, because of the 50% of students interviewed there were only four who had moderate motivation in learning using WhatsApp, four students did not do assignments independently, four students sent assignments according to the predetermined time limit, three students got grades according to predetermined standards and four students did not master the learning material that had been given by the teacher via whatsapp
