<![CDATA[This study aims to improve critical thinking skills (Critical Thinking) and learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Penuh, Jambi Province in the material of Mathematical Logic in the 2019/2020 Material Year. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) by applying the Discovery Learning learning model. Through observations and interviews with classroom teachers, the level of students' critical thinking skills is still in the low category. So that it affects student learning outcomes as well. The research lasted for 2 cycles, in the first cycle critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes increased to 4.3% very critical category, 21.7% critical category, 34.8% quite critical category, 30.5% less critical category, and 8.7% in the non-critical category, so that the overall learning outcomes in the first cycle became 52% complete and 48% incomplete. In the second cycle of action, there was an increase again, namely 17.4% very critical category, 30.4% critical category, 43.5% quite critical category, and 8.7% less critical category, so that student learning outcomes increased to 87% complete and 13% of students have not completed. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis (Critical Thinking) dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Penuh Provinsi Jambi pada materi Logika Matematika Tahun Materi 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan guru kelas, tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis (Critical Thinking) siswa masih dalam kategori rendah. Sehingga berpengaruh dengan hasil belajar siswa pula. Penelitian berlangsusng selama 2 siklus, pada siklus pertama keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa menigkat menjadi 4,3% kategori kritis sekali, 21,7% kategori kritis, 34,8% kategori cukup kritis, 30,5% kategori kurang kritis, dan 8,7% kategori tidak kritis, sehingga hasil belajar keseluruhan pada siklus I menjadi 52% yang tuntas dan 48% belum tuntas. Pada tindakan siklus II mengalami peningkatan kembali yaitu 17,4% kategori kritis sekali, 30,4% kategori kritis, 43,5% kategori cukup kritis, dan 8,7% kategori kurang ktiris, sehigga hasil belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 87% tuntas dan 13% siswa belum tuntas.]]>
