<![CDATA[The purpose of this School Action Research is an effort to improve the competence of teachers in preparing lesson plans (RPP). This School Action Research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Punggelan, while the research subjects consisted of 21 subject teachers. The research was carried out in two cycles. From the results of observations and interviews during guidance and practice, 21 teachers showed a good attitude and were motivated in preparing lesson plans. The results of the study, seen from the average value of teacher competence in preparing lesson plans, there was an increase from cycle to cycle. In the initial pre-cycle data, the average value was 76.49 in the sufficient category, with 5 teachers or 23.81% in the good category, 15 teachers or 71.43% in the sufficient category and 1 teacher or 4.76% were in the poor category, after the action was taken in the first cycle, the average value of teacher competence was 80.43% in the good category and in the second cycle the average teacher competency value became 91.00% in the very good category. From these data it can be concluded that the average acquisition in cycle II is in the good category and the number of teachers with very good and good grades reaches 100%, this is in accordance with the achievement indicators set by the researcher. The implication of the results of this study is that all teachers are expected to be able to improve teacher competence in preparing lesson plans. ABSTRAKTujuan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah ini adalah upaya meningkatkan kompetensi Guru dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Punggelan, sedang subyek penelitian terdiri atas 21 orang guru mata pelajaraan, penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Dari hasil pengamatan dan wawancara saat bimbingan dan latihan berlangsung ke 21 orang guru menunjukkan sikap yang baik dan termotivasi dalam menyusun RPP. Hasil penelitian, dilihat dari rata-rata nilai kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP terjadi peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus. Pada data awal pra siklus nilai rata-rata 76,49 dengan kategori cukup, dengan 5 orang guru atau 23,81% dengan katagori baik, 15 orang guru atau 71,43% berada di kategori cukup dan 1 orang guru atau 4,76% berada di katagori kurang, Setelah tindakan dilakukan pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata nilai kompetensi guru 80,43% dengan kategori baik dan pada siklus II rata-rata nilai kompetensi guru menjadi 91,00% dengan kategori amat baik. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perolehan rata-rata di siklus II dengan kategori baik dan jumlah guru dengan nilai amat baik dan baik mencapai 100% hal tersebut sesuai dengan indikator pencapaian hasil yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan semua guru di dapat Meningkatkan Kompetensi Guru dalam Menyusun RPP.]]>
