Abstract

This study aims to create an arduino- based tool to determine the freshness of red chillies using the TCS230 color sensor to facilitate chilli traders, supermarkets and markets in choosing good and bad quality based on the color of chili. Fresh chili will be red while the bad ones are usually dull red, slightly brownish and yellowish. TCS230 converts the color of light to fermentation with a square signal output with a frequency that is proportional to the current. The working principle is that the chili passes through the TCS230 sensor from the display of this tool, it will be seen the amount of color based on the specified chili criteria will produce chili output through checking and sorting the chillies of good and bad quality.

Abstract

Kisaran City is one of the cities in North Sumatra Province, and Simalungun tourism object is a tourist destination located in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this paper is to determine the shortest path or alternative route from the town of Kisaran (the starting point) to one of the tourist objects in Simalungun which took 18 samples of tourist destinations. The method used in this proposed paper is the Djikstra method which is often used by researchers and academics to determine the shortest route or the fastest route on a journey (expedition). The research data used is only from the google map to calculate each route between cities to tourist objects in Simalungun district. The application used is a PHP web program to simulate the final display of the process of finding the shortest path. The results of this research are in the form of information so that the residents of Kisaran city will know better about the shortest and fastest route to get to tourist objects in Simalungun Regency.

The form of this waste is that sometimes people are lazy or forget to turn off electrical devices such as lights when they have done something. On the other hand, the development of technological developments continues to be developed to facilitate all community activities, one of the developing technology fields is Arduino Uno technology. Abstract

This paper discusses the calculation of the amount automatically by using the principle of work of goods through the infahred sensor with reflecting light that mixes the light discovery items. This tool can work automatically because it is controlled by the ATmega328 microcontroller. The whole system consists of several components 1. Infrared sensors, 2. 16x2 LCDs, several jamper cables, bredbord, power supplies and several other devices. This step is to try the bread counter automatically. The test results of the design of the tool can work well in the process of selecting and calculating the amount of bread. Which will be sold to consumers.

Abstract

Data security is an important priority, as it relates to privacy, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and customer and sales data. The confidentiality and security of customer and sales data is the most important thing in conducting business in the industrial 4.0 era, which is now all-digital. Therefore, the research objective in this paper is to secure customer data using the RSA (Rivest Shamir Adleman) cryptographic algorithm implementation. The strength and security of the RSA algorithm lie in the level of difficulty in factoring numbers into prime factors. The research in this paper uses customer data and car sales at PT. Sutan Indo Various Cars Pematangsiantar. Based on these data, a decryption encryption application will be built using the RSA algorithm. This RSA cryptographic algorithm uses a key length of 1024 bits and plaintext in the form of files with the extension Microsoft Office. The first step is to convert the plaintext and the key into hexadecimal form. The results showed that the length of the file used would affect the encryption and decryption process time. The longer the file size, the longer it will take for the encryption and decryption process. So it can be concluded that the RSA algorithm is effectively used to secure data that is not too large in file size.

Abstract

Product is the one of thing which more important in the business especially for the retail industry. Ramayana is the one exact place for selling retail products such as clothing, shoes, or slipper. On 2012-2018, the number of sales of products in Ramayana experience curve up and down. That thing can cause profit and lose for Ramayana, to avoid that thing need to be held a prediction for the next months so that Ramayana side can know what will happen in the next months in selling it’s product and can take a step for more effective in selling it’s products. The data which used in this research is the data report monthly product sales of shoes & sandal sourced from Ramayana from 2012 until 2018. This research uses the Backpropagation neural network method using 5 architectures namely 3-26-1, 3-31-1, 3-35-1, 3-39-1 and 3-40-1. The best architecture is 3-35-1 with an accuracy rate of 92%. The results obtained are the results of the prediction of the number of sales for 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022

Abstract

Ramayana Department Store is one of the companies engaged in the business of retail supermarket. The company uses computer science technology applied in servicing activities, particularly in the sales data storage. Sales data is the information generated from sales transaction activities that obtained by the company through marketing activities to make profits. The use of computers in storing sales data is used to improve data security so that the valuable information can be confidentiality guaranteed. To avoid data theft and data manipulation,we need to implement a security system. Cryptography is a science that uses mathematical equations to keep the information secure such as data confidentiality, data validity, data integrity, and data authentication. A method that can be used to secure messages / information is the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The application of the AES cryptography algorithm in securing the sales data of the Ramayana Department Store shows that the algorithm can make encryption that cannot be read or understood by humans and make decryption that exactly same with the initial plaintext input. The difference of the key and the size of a file also affecting the time required to perform the encryption and decryption process
