Abstract

Proses pembuatan patrun pada lensa single vision sphero cylinder di laboratorium optik memerlukan ketelitian yang tinggi untuk dapat menghasilkan kacamata yang sesuai keinginan pasien, dalam penulisan ini penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif dari data kepustakaan salah satunya karangan Clifford W Brooks dengan judul buku Essential For Ophthalmic Lens Finishing. Tujuan karya tulis ini adalah agar lensa single vision sphero cylinder yang di faset dapat memusatkan OC secara horisontal dan vertikal dengan tepat sehingga menghasilkan lensa dengan kualitas baik. Abstract

Eyes are the window to life. Eyes are the most important and very meaningful sense that a person has. The eyes are the sense of sight that can be used to carry out daily activities. However, if someone's vision is disturbed, their activities will be disturbed. Many things can affect the quality of vision, one of which is diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus can cause damage to the function of the eye and retina. Examples of diabetes mellitus in the eye are diabetic retinopathy, gaucoma and cataracts.

Abstract

Near work activity in school-aged children is one of the risk factors (effects) of myopia. The longer a person focuses his eyesight to look closely, the longer the accommodation. So that over time the eyes will get tired and this condition will trigger blurring in the retina and the eyes become unfocused. Myopia is a form of refractive disorder in which parallel rays coming from an infinite distance by the eye that are not accommodated are refracted at a point in front of the retina, distant vision is blurred, hence myopia is the main cause of visual impairment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the level of illumination on the results of subjective refraction examinations and the condition of the patient when performing subjective refraction examinations at different lighting levels. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive observational, by examining subjective refraction at bright (506 lx) and dim (120 lx) lighting levels. The sample of this study used the saturated sampling technique, the occupants of the boarding house by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study, it can be found that there are differences in the results of subjective refraction examinations. The differences obtained are based on the correction result, the initial vision sine correction, the final visual acuity cum correction, and the condition of the patient.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the refraction status of traders in Alektro Penjaringan housing, North Jakarta. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach, by conducting a subjective examination the researcher can find out the results of the patient being examined. The sample of this study used a saturated sampling technique, the traders in the Alektro Penjaringan housing estate, North Jakarta, taking data through observation, interviews and documentation. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the refractive status that has been checked is 50% for emmetropia and 50% for ametropia. Researchers suggest educating every refractive examination to patients so that they do not experience advanced diseases such as cataracts
