Abstract

Steganography is a way to hide messages or confidential data in a medium called a carrier file. Embedding is done by the Least Significant Bit Insertion method, which is to replace the lowest bit of Red Green Blue (RGB) each pixel with the data bit you want to insert. With this method the difference between pixels that have not been pasted by messages and pixels that have been pasted by messages cannot be distinguished by human eye sight. Because the LSB insertion method is used, it is necessary to consider the type of digital image format used, this is necessary to avoid the loss of messages when extracting. And the best digital image format used is the 24-bit BMP because the BMP format is lossless compression

Abstract

Abstract

Water is an essential source of life, thus regulating its purity is critical in daily living. Water has a high acid content (pH) and contains a variety of harmful chemical elements such as iron (Fe), copper (Cu), sulphate (SO4), nitrate (NO3), chloride (Cl), and other dangerous bacteria. The goal of this research is to create wastewater management such that it can be used by the community. The process involves creating Fe3O4 catalysts that have been modified using SiO2 and TiO2. The application of dirty water employs Fe3O4/SiO2/TiO2 to bind contaminants in polluted water. The results of the photocatalyst process carried out by Fe3O4/SiO2/TiO2 reach 90% in 180 minutes of UV light irritation so that it can degrade water pollutants such as methylene orange.

Abstract

Teaching and learning centers play a vital role in supporting teachers who are seeking to improve their practices or find new strategies to address the challenges in their classrooms. One major dilemma teachers face is selecting the most effective teaching strategies for their specific classroom situations. This challenge is influenced by a variety of factors, including class size, subject matter, student demographics, and the teachers' own skills and teaching styles. As educators strive to meet the diverse needs of their students, finding the right approach can be overwhelming. Classroom Action Research (CAR) provides a systematic way for teachers to explore and address these challenges. Through this process, teachers engage in a cycle of inquiry—planning, acting, observing, and reflecting—allowing them to make informed decisions about their teaching practices. CAR empowers teachers to critically examine their own teaching methods, consider their personal values, and identify strategies that best align with the needs of their students. By working collaboratively, teachers can share insights and refine their practices, creating a collective, evidence-based approach to teaching. This paper discusses the interactive process of CAR, emphasizing its role in helping teachers reflect on their practices, experiment with new strategies, and develop a shared understanding of effective teaching. It highlights how CAR can lead to immediate, meaningful changes in teaching and learning.

Abstract

The Decree of The Ministry of Education and Culture No 060/U/1993 allows the introduction of English in the primary school as a local content subject. Educators have debated for years about the teaching of English to young learners in Indonesia. It is recommended that students start learning English at fourth grade although in fact, many schools start earlier, even as early as in the kindergarten. Talking about the implementation of the EYL programmes, it is inevitable to recognize that many factors have affected the implementation. Several studies have been conducted by the instructors and teacher trainers. It was discovered that most teachers did not have sufficient knowledge of English, made common linguistic mistakes, did not know how to teach young learners and some other weaknesses. The writer made use of the research findings to conduct in-service trainings, especially for EYL teachers without any English education background. Based on the teacher questionnaires, this collaborative in-service training pinpoints specific areas: practical teaching techniques focusing on story-telling, playing games, using action songs, and making inexpensive media for classroom techniques. Why collaborative in service training? Conducting in-service trainings for EYL teachers takes time, energy, and money. In this case Suyanto and her teams have applied a strategy involving the teacher trainers or instructors, the EYL teachers, the local Ministry of Education, and the important community members (hotel manager, the wealthy and local sponsors). Proposals with clearly stated objectives (helping local teachers improve their skills and increase the quality of primary school education) have been accepted and positively supported by the local government, local ministry of education and local society.
