Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam menyimpulkan isi teks bacaan siswa kelas VI SDN 6 Mataram. Peneliti menerapkan metode pembelajaran yaitu penggunaan taci (kata kunci) dalam menyimpulkan isi teks bacaan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu (1) metode observasi, (2) metode dokumentasi, dan (3) metode tugas. Sementara itu analisis data menggunakan PAP yang menganggap bahwa kemampuan individu adalah sama. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data  dapat disimpulkan bahwa  dalam pelaksanaan prasiklus diperoleh aspek kemampuan tinggi sebanyak 20 orang atau 58,82%, kemampuan sedang sebanyak 14 orang atau 41,17% dan yang berkemampuan rendah atau 0%. Secara kelompok (IPK) termasuk normal dengan nilai  65,00.  Sementara  itu,  dalam  pelaksanaan  siklus  I diperoleh  kemampuan tinggi sebanyak 27 orang atau 79,41%, kemampuan sedang 7 orang atau 20,58% dan yang berkemampuan rendah tidak ada atau 0%. Secara kelompok (IPK) termasuk  tinggi  dengan  nilai  76,00.  Siklus  II  diperoleh  kemampuan  tinggi sebanyak 33 orang atau 97,05%, kemampuan sedang 1 orang atau 2,94%, dan kemampuan rendah atau 0%. Secara kelompok (IPK) termasuk sangat tinggi dengan nilai 95,00. Berdasarkan data tersebut, pembelajaran menggunakan taci menunjukkan hasil peningkatan yang optimal dari prasiklus, siklus I ke siklus II. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa prasiklus 65,00 menjadi 76,00, dan dari siklus I ke seklus II 76,00 menjadi 97,05 peningkatannya sebesar 21,05. Dengan peningkatan tersebut dapat dikatakan  bahwa penggunaan taci dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyimpulkan isi teks bacaan. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to improve the level of students' ability in concluding the contents of the reading texts of class VI SDN 6 Mataram. The researcher applies the learning method, namely the use of taci (key words) in concluding the contents of the reading text. The data collection methods used are (1) the observation method, (2) the documentation method, and (3) the assignment method. Meanwhile, data analysis uses PAP which assumes that individual abilities are the same. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that in the implementation of the pre-cycle, 20 people or 58.82% of high ability aspects were obtained, 14 people or 41.17% medium ability and 0% low abilities. In the group (GPA) including normal with a value of 65.00. Meanwhile, in the implementation of the first cycle, 27 people or 79.41% had high abilities, 7 people or 20.58% medium abilities and none or 0% low abilities. The group (GPA) is high with a value of 76.00. Cycle II obtained high ability as many as 33 people or 97.05%, medium ability 1 person or 2,94%, and low ability or 0%. The group (GPA) is very high with a value of 95.00. Based on these data, learning using taci showed optimal improvement results from pre-cycle, cycle I to cycle II. This can be seen from the average score of pre-cycle students from 65.00 to 76.00, and from cycle I to second cycle from 76.00 to 97.05 the increase was 21.05. With this increase, it can be said that the use of taci can improve students' ability to conclude the contents of the reading text.

Abstract

The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The purpose of this study was to test the consistency and effectiveness of the instruction manual for determining the area of a parallelogram and the area of a triangle for students of SD 6 Mataram. To achieve this goal, tools and instructions for use were used in learning for the 111th-grade students of SDN 6 Mataram and divided into 3 classes. Because the research was conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic, the media was designed to be a learning video that describes the use of props, and their operational guidelines are narrated in the video. The video that contains the use of the tool is considered very in accordance with the instructions for use|| props. The results of the evaluation showed that there was no significant difference in the mean scores of the three pairs of classes (significance level 5% |t_h | < t_table = 2,0002). On the other hand, the completeness obtained by students in each class is >80% (KKM=70). This means that there is complete student learning about the area of a parallelogram and the area of a triangle. Thus, it can be concluded that the teaching aids for determining the area of a parallelogram and the area of a triangle and the instructions for use are consistently effective in helping students achieve complete learning on the material for the area of a parallelogram and the area of a triangle.
