Abstract

Economic growth as a quantitative measure that describes the development of an economy in a given year when compared with the previous year. Economic growth means the development of economic activities that cause goods and services produced in the community to increase and the welfare of society increases. Each region seeks to increase economic growth and stability, one of which is Riau Islands Province. To see how the economic growth of Riau Islands Province, then conducted a study entitled Economic Growth Riau Islands Province. The data source used is secondary data with descriptive data analysis method. From the analysis, it is known that the economic growth of Kepulauan Riau Province in the year of 2016 is 5.03% with the highest growth rate in the big and retail trade, car and motorcycle repairs 9.54%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Sosial Ekonomi Orang Tua terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa. Penelitian ini merupakanjenis penelitian kuantitatif korelasional.Teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti lakukan adalah metode angket dan metode dokumentasi dengan menggunakan uji coba instrumen penelitian,yaitu uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, lenieritas dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan Program IBM SPSS 21. Adapun Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP N Satu Atap 19 Merangin tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari dari 3 kelas dengan jumlah 31 orang tua siswa dan sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi yaitu terdiri dari 31 Orang siswa-siswi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMP N Satu Atap 19 Merangin Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,726 dan nilai thitung sebesar 5,682 > ttabel 2,045, fhitung sebesar32,273 > ftabel 4,183 , nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 koefisien determinasi sebesar 52,7 % dan persamaan garis regresi Y = 6,225 + 1,999X.
