Abstract

The dynamics of educational transformation has developed rapidly, along with the growing technology. This can happen due to the existence of systems and learning methods that are supported by the technology of the digital world. This development is marked by the determination of the era of globalization (Silfia, 2018). This determination of globalization is marked in the industrial era 5.0. The era of the industrial revolution 5.0 occurred because of the impact of the 4.0 revolution. In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, students are required to think critically, therefore, case-based learning or case-based learning is a method that can be applied to the learning process. Case-based learning itself is a learning technique centered on developing students' potential in analyzing a case and providing problem solving for the case. The solution to solving the case must be relevant to the reflection of everyday life. Case-based learning aims to make students accustomed to solving problems in real life correctly.Keywords: Era Society 5.0 and Indonesian Education

Abstract

National character education is carried out through the education of values and virtues which are the basic values of culture and national character. The virtue that is an attribute of a character is basically a value. Therefore, cultural education and national character are basically the development of values derived from the Indonesian nation's view of life or ideology, religion, culture, and values formulated in the goals of national education. The process of developing the values that form the basis of the character requires a continuous process, carried out through various subjects in the curriculum (citizenship, history, geography, economics, sociology, anthropology, Indonesian language, social studies, science, mathematics, religion, physical education and sports, arts and skills).
