Abstract

Education Batam City has an education that follows the development of the current era. Because the city of Batam itself is very close to neighboring countries, namely Singapore and Malaysia. As reported from the online electronic media Kompas newspaper on January 17, 2017, as a parent, of course you also don't want to look for a school for your baby. The reason is, choosing the right school, especially kindergarten (TK) and elementary school (SD), is a "long-term investment" for the future of children. Having a child who will enter a higher school, from the kindergarten (TK) period, of course, must choose an elementary school (SD) which can be said to have good quality besides that it can be seen in the results of those who have graduated from the elementary school. Because in the modern era, children must be introduced to the international language from an early age but not abandon the national language, Sultan Agung School puts the concept of the National Plus School in front. The consideration that can be taken for parents is choosing a public or private elementary school with different concepts and advantages, of course, it is enough to think carefully, so as not to make the wrong choice. In general, the new alternative schools offer the same concept, namely promoting children's verbal abilities and honing children's creativity. As a parent, of course, you will look for information on the meaning of the national plus school understanding. The concept taken with the national plus is that the school prioritizes all students being able to use the Indonesian language and is equipped with the help of an international language, namely English.

Abstract

An automatic gate is a door whose operation process runs automatically using a remote drive tool, but when combined with IoT elements, it means that users can control the automatic gate using a cell phone or mobile phone. The purpose of this research is to create a prototype of an automatic gate control system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The method used in the current research is the prototype method. The results in this study were tested to determine the range. Testing is done using an adapter connected to a power supply. The testing process is carried out by observing the movement and response of the servo motor when controlled via a smartphone and the stepper motor when the Ultrasonic sensor detects an object less than 5 cm. The conclusion of this research is that at a distance of 1 to 19 meters, the gate lock can still be controlled properly. While at a distance of 20 meters when the gate lock is open, the gate opens and closes. This is because the WiFi signal cannot be captured properly by the central controller of the circuit at a distance of more than 19 meters.

Abstract

The community service activity at SMK YPKK 1 Gamping aims to align the vocational education curriculum with industry standards through the introduction of Agile and Scrum methods using the JIRA application. The main challenge faced was the students' lack of understanding of professional project management tools, so this training focused on mastering JIRA features such as Scrum/Kanban boards and issue tracking. Through training and mentoring of 30 students, there was a significant increase in competence. Data shows that the highest score on the pre-test was 80 (9 participants), which then increased on the post-test to a perfect score of 100 achieved by 15 participants. The evaluation results concluded that 50% of participants had achieved the maximum level of understanding in operating JIRA. Thus, this implementation successfully bridged the gap between academic theory and the practical needs of the workplace, while equipping students with globally relevant project management skills.

Abstract

Research by Effendy and Oktiani (2024) shows that cybersecurity literacy is crucial for adolescents in dealing with online manipulation. Based on this urgency, the community service team held an interactive counseling session themed " Fast, Creative, and Safe Social Media Education Through a Digital Treasure Hunt at Madrasah Aliyah Bina Insani "The activity took place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, in the classroom of MA Bina Insani. This seminar-style counseling was attended by 28 students who actively participated through discussions and question-and-answer sessions. As a token of appreciation, the team also presented a certificate of commendation as a souvenir. Field evaluations indicated that the school felt greatly assisted by the program. Through this activity, students began to understand digital threats such as cyberbullying and fake news. The Principal, Mr. Samsudin, S.Pd.I., welcomed and fully supported this program so that students could become more responsible in using social media.

Abstract

This community service (PKM) initiative addresses the conceptual confusion among eleventh-grade students at SMK PGRI 1 Cimahi regarding the differences between Visual Basic (VB) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). This tumpangsari or overlap in understanding hindered their efficiency in advanced visual programming and automated data processing. To resolve this issue, a half-day interactive seminar and semi-workshop were conducted for 36 active students. The program combined theoretical insights on the distinct purposes, environments, and functions of VB and VBA with hands-on practices, such as activating the Excel Developer tab. Evaluation via Quizizz confirmed that students successfully acquired the technical skills to distinguish and utilize both platforms. Beyond technical competencies, the session enhanced students' digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and professional communication ethics. Ultimately, this initiative successfully fulfilled the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi and fostered essential digital readiness for the students' upcoming internship programs.

Abstract

This research proposes an Indonesian-language mental health chatbot model based on the LSTM Sequence-to-Sequence (Seq2Seq) architecture as an adaptive initial support solution. Unlike static classification models, this generative approach aims to capture emotional dependencies and conversational context through context vectors. The research methodology utilizes the public PSYCHIKA dataset, which includes 5,667 conversation pairs a significant volume for a low-resource language. Evaluation was conducted by comparing 80:20 and 70:30 data split schemes. Experimental results showed the best performance with the 80:20 split, achieving a BLEU-1 score of 0.137, compared to the 70:30 split, which only reached 0.043. The model achieved stable convergence at 15–16 epochs via an early-stopping mechanism without any signs of overfitting. Although training stability was maintained, the low BLEU score confirms that the use of a pure Seq2Seq LSTM without an attention mechanism is not yet sufficient to generate highly fluent responses. These findings provide a reproducible technical baseline for the development of mental health dialogue systems in Indonesia, while also emphasizing the urgency of more advanced architectures to improve the quality of empathy in the future.
