Abstract

ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian berhubungan dengan rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitiannya bertujan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas X IPA semester genap SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen yaitu dengan menerapkan langsung model pembelajaran Think Talk Write pada kelas eksperimen dan model pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas kontrol. Populasinya seluruh kelas X IPA semester genap yang tersebar dalam 4 kelas dengan jumlah keseluruhan 127 siswa. Teknik Cluster Random Sampling digunakan untuk mengambil kelas sampel dan didapat kelas X IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah masing-masing 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Analisis data statistik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji Wilcoxon pada taraf 5% diperoleh  . Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas X IPA semester genap SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019.Kata kunci : think talk write, komunikasi matematis ABSTRACTThe problem in this study is related to the low mathematical communication skills of students. Based on this problem, the research aims to find out the effect of the application of Think Talk Write learning model to the mathematical communication skills of students class X IPA in SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung, in the even semester, academic year 2018/2019. The method used is an experimental method that is by applying the Think Talk Write learning model directly to the experimental class and the conventional learning model to the control class. The population is the entire class X IPA in even semester which is spread in 4 classes with a total of 127 students. Cluster Random Sampling technique is used to take the sample class and obtain class X IPA 3 as an experimental class and class X IPA 2 as a control class with a total of 32 students for each. Data were collected using test technique. Statistical data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the analysis of the Wilcoxon test at a level of 5% was obtained zscore < ztable . Thus, the application of the Think Talk Write learning model has a positive effect on the mathematical communication skills of students of class X IPA in the even semester of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2018/2019.Keywords : think talk write, mathematical communication

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari model Team Assisted Individualization terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung yang terdiri dari 8 kelas dengan jumlah 224 siswa, sedangkan sampel terdiri atas dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII C sebagai kelas ekperimen yang berjumlah 29 siswa dan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan pengundian. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dites dengan soal essay sebanyak 5 soal yang terlebih dahulu diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019.                                                                                          Kata kunci : Team Assisted Individualization, pemecahan masalah  ABSTRACTThis study aimed to determine whether there was an influence of the Team Assisted Individualization model on the students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This study used an experimental method with a population were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung, consisting of 8 classes with 224 students, while the sample consisted of two classes, class VIII C as an experimental class totaling 29 students and class VIII A as a control class which numbered 27 students. The samples were selected by using the draw. The students' mathematical problem-solving abilities were tested with 5 question essays, which were first tested for their validity and reliability. The testing the hypothesis of this study using the t test. Based on the results of research and data analysis found the influence of the Team Assisted Individualization learning model on the ability to solve mathematical problem solving for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2018/2019.Keywords : team assisted individualization, problem solving

Abstract

This study relates to the lack of optimal activity and learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP PGRI 3 Bandar Lampung. The aim is to improve the activities and results of learning mathematics through the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model. The research conducted was classroom action research through 3 cycles using the NHT learning model. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in the activities and learning outcomes of students from before the implementation of the study until after the research was conducted. The average activity of students at the time before the study was 52.31% and the percentage of completeness was 8.33%. In the first cycle the average student activity increased to 60.77% with a percentage of completeness of 66.67%. The average activity of students in cycle II increased again to 68.08% with the percentage of completeness reaching 75.00%. In the third cycle the average activity of students became 79.62% and the percentage of completeness was 83.33%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the NHT learning model is more effectively used in an effort to improve the activity and learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP PGRI 3 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

The problems discussed in the study relate to the ability to solve mathematical problems in the X graders of science in the even semester of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung, which are still low. Based on this, this study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the ability of mathematical problem solving in class X science students of Even Semester SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the Academic Year 2017/2018. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA in the even semester of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2017/2018, which were spread in 6 classes with a total of 206 students. From the population, two classes were taken as the research sample, namely class X IPA 2, amounting to 30 students as the control class and X IPA 4, amounting to 35 students as the experimental class. The sampling technique used is the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Measurement of variables using a test in the form of a description of 5 questions that were first tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis uses simple statistical analysis with the t-test formula. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, obtained thit = 5.24 and from the distribution table at a significant level of 5% with tdaf = t (1-1/2α) = 1.67 so that it is known thit> tdaf or can be written 5.24> 1.67 . Thus it can be concluded "There is an effect of the Discovery Learning model on the ability to solve mathematical problems in class X science students in the even semester of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2017/2018".

Abstract

The problems that were examined in this research pertaining to less account of the results that students are learning mathematics. The purpose of this research is to find the learning strategy guide prediction for the students learn math ability of class VIII of SMP UTAMA 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2018/2019. The research uses experimental methods to the population in this research is all students ability of class VIII of SMP UTAMA 3 Bandar Lampung, its consisting of 3 class to the total number of 83 students, The sample was taken two classes viii-b class as a class the experiment apply prediction guide strategy And viii-c class as a class control a conventional learning. Sample taken using a technique clusters of random sampling. To know mathematics students writer test in the form of an essay as many as 10 the first has been tested validity and reliability. The testing of hypotheses on this research using formulas t-hit. The results of the testing of hypotheses using formulas statistic t-hit = 9,40 obtained the t. From table distribution t on significant standard known t = 5 % = 2,00 then so which means the average learning outcomes mathematics students who use prediction guide strategy be higher than the average learning outcomes mathematics students who use conventional kind of classroom From the above it can be concluded guide prediction that strategy can and have had a positive impact of the results of learn math.

Abstract

The problems discussed in this study are related to the low mathematics learning outcomes of students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Trimurjo, Central Lampung. Based on this, this study aims to determine whether the cooperative learning model of Sending Greetings and Questions has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Trimurjo, Central Lampung. This research is using experimental method. The population in this study was class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Trimurjo Central Lampung which consisted of 3 classes with a total of 94 students and samples from each class amounted to 34 students as samples in the experimental class and 34 students as samples in the control class. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument in this study used an essay test consisting of 10 items. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test and obtained thit = 9.48 and from the total distribution of t at a significant level of 5% it is known that t(1-α) = 2.00. It is proven that thit > tdaf so that it can be concluded that there is an influence of the cooperative learning model of the technique of sending greetings and questions on the Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Class VIII SMP students.

Abstract

The problem in this study is related to the low ability of students' mathematical connections. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Jigsaw Cooperative learning model on the mathematical connection abilities of class VIII students in the even semester of SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the 2020/2021 school year. This study uses experimental methods, as well as data analysis using parametric statistical formulas. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung which consisted of 10 classes with a total of 314 students, while the sample was taken 2 classes, namely class VIII B as the experimental class which amounted to 35, and class VIII A as the control class which amounted to 33 The sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. To determine the students' mathematical connection ability, it was measured using a test in the form of an essay as many as 5 questions which had been tested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing in this study used the t-test formula. From the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test statistical formula, the value of t hit = 2.47 is obtained. From the t distribution table at a significant level of 5%, it is known that t daf = ????(1−????)= 1.67, which means that t hit > t daf is 2.47 > 1.67, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Jigsaw learning model on the mathematical connection abilities of class VIII students in the even semester of SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the 2020/2021 school year. This situation can also be seen from the average value of students' mathematical connection abilities where theexperimental class has an average value of 77.37 and the control class has an average value of 68.67.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa kelas VIII-ASMP IT Baitul Jannahmelalui metode Discovery. Permasalahan penelitianberupa rendahnya minat dan ketertarikan siswa dalam pelajaran matematika sehingga berpengaruh pada rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik. Penelitian ini merupakanPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK)yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus.Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa-siswikelas VIII-ASemester Ganjil SMP IT Baitul Janahyang terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 19 siswa perempuan, sedangkan objek dalam penelitian adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalahmatematik.Pengumpulan data setiap siklus menggunakan teknik tes dan teknik observasi. Teknik analisis data terdiri atas: 1) analisis hasil observasi, 2) analisis hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Untuk pengecekan derajat kepercayaan data, penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber peneliti yang lain, yaitu kepala sekolah, guru matematika, dan siswa.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalahmatematika siswa.Peningkatan tersebut yaitudariprasiklus yang lulus hanya9 orangatau(29,03%)dan tidak lulus22 orang(70,97%)meningkat pada siklus Imenjadi20orang(64,52%) yang lulus11orang (35,48%) tidak lulus, kemudianpada siklus II menjadi 26orang (83,87%) yang lulus dan 5 orang (16,13%) yang tidak lulus.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low ability of students' mathematical problemsolving in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectof applying the contextual teaching and learning approach to the mathematicalproblem solving abilities of Grade VIII students in odd semesters of SMP Negeri 34Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study used an experimentalmethod with the population in this study, namely all students of class VIII Odd SemesterSMP Negeri 34 Bandar Lampung, while two classes were taken as samples, namelyclass VIII B which used a contextual teaching and learning approach, and class VIII Awhich used a conventional approach. Samples were taken using the Cluster RandomSampling technique. To find out students' mathematical problem solving abilities, a testwas carried out in the form of an essay of five questions which had previously beentested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing in this study uses the t-hit formula.From the results of testing the hypothesis using the t-hit statistical formula, the valueof t hit = 2.60 is obtained. From the t distribution table at a significant level of 5% it isknown that t daf = 1.67, then t hit > t daf , which means that the average mathematicalproblem solving ability of students using the contextual teaching and learningapproach is higher than the average mathematical problem solving ability of studentsusing the conventional.
