Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit DM dan melakukan deteksi dini DM beserta komplikasi. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian Warga RW 07 Kelurahan Slipi Kecamatan Palmerah Jakarta Barat. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui edukasi atau penyuluhan tentang penyakit DM, pemeriksaan gula darah sewaktu serta diskusi terkait dengan Diabetus melitus dan komplikasinya. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan penyuluhan, sejumlah  29 orang peserta telah menerima informasi mengenai DM dengan baik,  Deteksi dini diabetes mellitus dari jumlah peserta yang dilakukan pemeriksaan gula darah terdeteksi  17,24 % peserta mengalami diabetes, dan 82,76% memiliki kadar gula darah sewaktu dalam kadar normal, serta adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan komplikasi.  Kata Kunci : Sosialisasi, Diebetus Melitus, Komplikasi  ABSTRACT This community service activity is to increase public knowledge about DM disease and conduct early detection of DM along with complications. Participantsin Community Service activities RW 07 Slipi Village, Palmerah District, West Jakarta. Methods of community service activities through education or counseling about DM, during blood sugar checks and discussions related to Diabetus mellitus and its complications. Based on the results of counseling activities, a total of 29 participants had received information about DM well, Early detection of diabetes mellitus from the number of participants who had blood sugar tests detected 17.24% of participants had diabetes, and 82.76% had blood sugar levels when in levels normal, and an increase in knowledge about complications prevention. Keywords: Socialization, Diebetus Melitus, Complications

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the description of the analysis of 0.9% NaCl compresses to reduce post-Fertula AV insertion pain in patients with chronic renal failure during hemodialysis. The research design is a simple descriptive research method with a case study approach, and administration of 0.9% NaCl compress therapy. The study results during the compress pain reduction occurred in the subject I and subject II; there was no allergy, both questions looked comfortable, there were no complaints of increased pain, no gestures or expressions that showed massive pain when compressed. Complaints of pain felt by the two subjects from the first hour to the fourth hour always experience a decrease in pain scale. In conclusion, there is a decrease in pain scale in question I and subject II between 2-1 every time it is compressed for four meetings. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the semi-fowler position on Respiratory Rate in pulmonary TB patients in the Pelni Hospital in Jakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a case study approach. The results showed that there was a change in respiratory rate from 21x / min to 18x / min in the subject I and 22x / min to 19x / min in subject II for three days of treatment. In conclusion, there is a significant change in the patient's breathing ability before and after the intervention. Keywords: Semi Fowler Position, Respiratory Rate, Lung TB
