<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Pemberian ASI menjadi kian penting mengingat dampak pandemic COVID-19 telah membebani sistem Kesehatan di Indonesia, sehingga layanan konseling menyusui menjadi jauh lebih sulit diakses. Survei nasional yang dilaksanakan Kementerian Kesehatan dengan dikungan UNICEF pada tahun 2021 menemukan bahwa kurang dari 50 persen ibu dan pengasuh anak di bawah dua tahun yang menerima layanan konseling menyesui skema pandemic. Situasi ini diperparah oleh tingginya pelanggaran terhadap Kode Internasional Pemasaran Produk Pengganti ASI di Indonesia. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pemahaman dan edukasi serta mengindentifikasi sejauh mana pengetahuan dan kesadaran ibu hamil serta ibu nifas tentang IMD dan ASI Eksklusif agar dapat menjamin tumbuh kembang bayi dengan baik. Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah interaktif dan tanya jawab kepada ibu hamil dan ibu menyusui tentang manfaat IMD dan ASI Eksklusif bagi ibu dan bayi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pretest untuk mengetahui pemahaman ibu sejauh mana terkait IMD dan ASI Eksklusif. Analisis data pretest dan post test untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perubahan pemahaman serta pengetahuan mengenai Manfaat IMD dan ASI Eksklusif pada ibu dan bayi. Hasil pengabdian Masyarakat tentang Inisiasi menyusu dini dan ASI eksklusif di posyandu rindu Sejahtera desa penfui timur bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil dan ibu menyusui sesudah dilaksanakan penyuluhan. Disarankan kepada semua peserta untuk lebih aktif mencari informasi tentang IMD dan ASI eksklusif sedangkan untuk petugas Kesehatan terutama bidan agar lebih sesering mungkin memberikan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya IMD demi keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. The method in this activity is interactive lectures and questions and answers to pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers about the benefits of IMD and exclusive breastfeeding for mothers and babies. Data collection techniques through pretest to determine the mother's understanding of the extent related to IMD and exclusive breastfeeding. The results of community service on early breastfeeding initiation and exclusive breastfeeding at posyandu rindu Sejahtera in East Penfui village that there was an increase in knowledge of pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers after counseling. Recommended for all participants to be more active in seeking information about IMD and exclusive breastfeeding, while for health workers, especially midwives, to provide education as often as possible about the importance of IMD for the success of exclusive breastfeeding.
