Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the interactions and main effects of NAA and BAP hormones on the growth of Ciplukan (Physalis angulata L.). The design used in this study is a complete random design (CRD) which consists of two factors. The first factor is N (NAA) which consists of 4 levels, namely: without treatment, 0.1, 1, and 10 mg / l while the second factor is B (BAP) consisting of 4 levels, namely: without treatment, 0.1, 1 and 10 mg / l. The parameters observed were the percentage of hypocotyl explants forming callus, the age of callus appearing, the number of shoots, and the percentage of hypocotyl explants forming roots. The observational data is then statistically analyzed, if the F count is greater than the F table then proceed with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of NAA and BAP gave a significant effect on the age of callus with the best treatment was the administration of 0.1 mg / l NAA and mg / l BAP 1 (N1B2). The main effect of NAA was significantly on the age of callus with the best treatment of 1 mg / l NAA (N2). The main effect of BAP was significantly on the age of callus with the best treatment 1 mg / l BAP (B2) and the percentage of hypocotyl explants forming roots with the best treatment without BAP administration (B0). Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to investigate the interaction of the application of AB Mix nutrition and growing media on the growth and production of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) on NFT hydroponics. This study uses a ]Compound Plot Design in the form of a Completely Randomized Design consisting of the main plot, namely the nutrient concentration of AB Mix (N) and subplots of planting media (M). Nutrition AB Mix consists of 4 treatment levels, 600, 1200, 1800, 2400 ppm / l water and various planting media treatments consisting of 3 levels, namely husk, cocopeat, and sawdust charcoal media. Each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants used as samples. The parameters observed were as follows: plant height, harvest age, number of tubers, wet tuber weight, dry tuber weight, tuber weight per tuber, tuber weight loss. The observations of each treatment were statistically analyzed and continued with further tests of Honest Significant Difference at the 5% level. The interaction of the application of AB Mix nutrition and planting media had a real effect on all parameters, with the best AB Mix 1800 ppm and cocopeat growing media. The effect of AB Mix main plot has significantly affected all parameters observed with the best treatment of AB Mix 1800 ppm nutrition. The effect of subplot planting media significantly affected all parameters of observation with the best treatment of cocopeat growing media Keywords: AB Mix, Shallots, NFT hydroponics

Abstract

The aim of the work was to find out the interaction between pineapple peel bokashi and organic NPK fertilizer and the main effect in increasing the growth and yield of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The study was conducted at the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Riau Islamic University from February to May 2020. This experimental design was 4 x 4 factorial using a completely randomized design with 3 replications. The first factor was the dose of pineapple peel bokashi consists of 4 levels: 0, 0.75, 1.5, 2.25 kg per plot. The second factor was the dose of NPK organic Fertilizer, consisting of 4 level: 0, 7.5, 15.0, 22, 5 gram per plant. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit crops, weight of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per fruit, number of residual fruits. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with the real difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of pineapple peel bokashi and organic NPK had a significant effect to all observation parameters and the best treatment was a combination of pineapple skin bokashi 2.25 kg/plot and NPK organic 22.5 g/plant. The main effect of pineapple peel bokashi dose was significant on all observed parameters with the best treatment was 2.25 kg / plot. The main effect of organic NPK was significant for all parameters. The best treatment was found on organic NPK dose of 22.5 g/plant.
