Abstract

Archery sports become one of the favorite sports of the people of Indonesia. From here then emerged various places to practice archery. Only complete activities carried out that activate the weather, temperature and temperature factors at the training ground. While students who will practice archery have brought quite a lot of homes and sometimes the distance of the house to the practice site is relatively far. Based on these conditions, this research will develop a decision support system that can predict the implementation of training in accordance with weather criteria, wind conditions and temperature. This Decision Support System applies a tree decision algorithm and is implemented into the website.

Abstract

One of the courses in D IV Informatics Engineering Department is Industrial Practices Work. This course is held to equip students of praxis in the world of software development. Unfortunately, so far the mechanism for implementing Industrial Practices Work is still in the conventional form. One of them is, for example, a student registers with the administration department of a study program, then requests a letter to be made to several software houses. In fact, sometimes the drafting of the request can be repeated in each group. This kind of process is very ineffective and slows down the performance of study programs. Therefore, through this research an information system was developed that could help to facilitate the implementation of Industrial Practices Work. The system development methodology used in this study is the waterfall method.

Abstract

Paguyuban Turah Runtah merupakan sebuah komunitas masyarakat yang bergerak di bidang sosial terutama dalam pembenahan lingkungan. Salah satu aktivitas utama dari paguyuban ini adalah melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat agar tidak membuang sampah sembarangan serta menjaga lingkungan agar tetap bersih. Selama menjalankan aktivitas sosialisasi tersebut, Turah Runtah menggunakan media poster yang ditempel di tempat-tempat yang rawan dijadikan tempat untuk membuang sampah secara sembarangan. Poster-poster tersebut didesain dan dihasilkan oleh desainer grafis dari percetakan yang secara otomatis membutuhkan biaya yang cukup besar. Oleh karena itu agar paguyuban ini dapat secara mandiri menjalankan aktivitas sosialisasinya maka diperlukan pelatihan seputar pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Pada pelatihan ini anggota paguyuban dilatih membuat logo dan poster dengan memanfaatkan berbagai software untuk desain grafis. Selain itu juga, Paguyuban Turah Runtah melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini diberikan bantuan berupa satu unit laptop agar bisa berkembang lebih baik.
