Abstract

Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1 intends to end poverty of all forms and the government of Pakistan is also targeting poverty alleviation through social safety nets. ‘Ehsaas’ is the major social safety nets proramme which include various initiatives that are benefiting millions of households. The study examines the state of poverty in Pakistan and also highlights the spending under each social safety net. Furthermore, the study also evaluates the Livelihood Enhancement and Protection (LEP) programme which is a major initiative for poverty alleviation under Ehsaas programme. Survey in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and Balochistan provinces were conducted of those beneficiaries who are getting asset and skills training. It was found that asset provision and skills trainings are helpful in increasing the earnings and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to poor households.

Abstract

The pandemic covid-19 and the development of information technology and communication is a resistance and challenge for those who are trained to innovate the training pattern. In practice, the distance training as multimedia based learning becomes an alternative implementation pattern that is widely applied by training institutions. In the implementation of this distance training, literacy skills of the participants are required. This study aims to explain the increase in literacy skills of Madrasah Tsanawiyah mathematics teachers through the application of distance training. This study is a quantitative descriptive study on a sample of mathematics teacher training participants at the Surabaya Religious Education and Training Center in 2021. The research design used a one sample pre test-post test with a test as a data collection technique. Then the data was processed using N-Gain analysis techniques and using t-test's SPSS paired sample test method. The results showed that there was an increase in literacy ability in general by 0.842 (high Gain category) with t-test results at = 0.05, df = 34 of 16, 952 > t table (very significant category). Meanwhile, the literacy ability of mathematical content in the geometry aspect showed an increase of 0.618 (medium gain category) with t-test results at = 0.05, df = 34 of 11,153 > t table (very significant category). From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of distance training can improve the literacy skills of Madrasah Tsanawiyah mathematics teachers.

Abstract

Savagery is regularly done by police within the examination to urge a confession the suspect. This behavior has ended up a propensity that can be referenced from different investigate comes about, which are caused by need of supervisory organization examination, an inadequate lawful disobedient, the assurance of the institution, and the amateurish demeanor of the police. This circumstance causes no chance to battle for a suspect his rights and the culprits of savagery blocked off. Polished skill related with standardized ethical issues into the code of conduct, and any infringement of ethics code shows a issue within the body of ethical police. There ought to be a ethical advancement within the examiner for examination can take put legitimately and accurately concurring to desires.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative descriptive study that explains the improvement of students' spatial thinking skills after the implementation of the blended learning-rigorous mathematical thinking model, hereinafter referred to as the BL-RMT model. Spatial thinking ability (KBSp) which is measured in this study is related to the mathematics subject in the aspect of geometry. The design of this study used a "Control Group Pretest-Postest Design" with the research sample being class VIII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. Data collection uses a test technique with an instrument in the form of questions. Data analysis using normalized Gain test (N-Gain Test) andThe t-test was performed using SPSS Independent samples test. The results showed that in the experimental class the mean value of the KBSp pre test is 68.5593 dan the average test post is 83.5593. Tthere is an increase in the average value of 15 digits and if calculated based on the N-Gain formula, a score of 0.477 is obtained in the medium Gain category. While in the control class, the mean of pre-test KBSp was 67.2581 and the mean of post-test was 75.5161. There isan increase in the average value of 8.258 and if calculated based on the N-gain formula, a score of 0.252 is obtained in the low category. Furthermore, based on the results of the t-test on the KBSp pre-test value, the result was 0.375 with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.708 > 0.05 ortcount < t table for = 0.05, meaning that there is no difference between the pre-test scores of the experimental class and the control class or the two groups are homogeneous.

Abstract

This library research aims to examine the existence of scientists as an independent science, which has a special method and at the same time the usefulness of anthropology in people's lives. The writing approach method used is a qualitative approach with a bibliographic method. This means that in writing this article the writer collects, selects, analyzes and presents various writings sourced from various literature books and other written sources. Syntheses from various sources are presented and assembled to obtain conclusions. The results of the literature review show that anthropology as an independent science fulfills the requirements for a philosophy of science that must contain elements of ontology, epistemology and axiology. These three elements are found in anthropology because anthropology has certain methods and benefits for many people's lives, which in the subsequent development of anthropology is not only a pure science but also an applied science.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the process of cultural development analyzed from the perspective of the evolutionary, diffusion, and structural-functional paradigm. The importance of this analysis in the study of various anthropological paradigms is that no matter how simple society, it is absolutely necessary to experience gradual and revolutionary changes in development and culture. These changes lead to the disruption of socio-cultural values in people's lives. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with the biographical method. In collecting, processing and analyzing data, the authors searched for various literatures which were followed up with content analysis by comparing, and selecting various contents of literature books to formulate conclusions. The results of the study show that in the life of a very simple and complex society, socio-cultural changes are found. The results of the analysis based on the paradigm of evolution, diffusion and functional structure in the midst of an increasingly complex society found the disruption of socio-cultural values due to the dynamics of society, the rapid development of science and technology.

Abstract

The need for curriculum transformation in Indonesia to support multicultural education is increasingly evident. This study focuses on how a multidimensional approach to curriculum transformation can effectively enhance students' appreciation of multiculturalism. This approach fosters tolerance and respect for cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity. This study used qualitative methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis using thematic coding and triangulation techniques to ensure data validity, consistency, and reliability of findings. Curriculum transformation at State Junior High School I Medan integrates cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and socio-cultural dimensions to foster multicultural appreciation. Key changes include shifting the curriculum's focus from academic achievement to developing tolerance and respect for cultural diversity. Teaching materials now incorporate multicultural perspectives, and project-based participatory learning methods actively engage students in cultural activities. Classrooms are organized to promote gender and religious balance, and assessments are more holistic, evaluating students' academic performance and involvement in multicultural activities. This transformation creates a more inclusive and culturally responsive educational environment, helping students develop the academic and socio-emotional skills needed to live in a diverse society. This approach prepares students to be more tolerant and inclusive, positively impacting their interactions in an increasingly globalized world. This research provides valuable insights for educators and policymakers on increasing multicultural appreciation among students.
