Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of knowledge, motivation, reputation and location on the interests of SME’s (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises) entrepreneurs to propose financing in Islamic banks (Bank Syariah Mandiri). The research  used quantitative research. The population in this research is the SME’s customers who applied for financing in Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) branch office Aceh. The technique of sampling method used simple random sampling and retrieved samples of 95 respondents. For data analysis method, using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS. The results of this study indicated that knowledge, motivation, reputation and location simultaneously affect the interest. Partially, the result shows that knowledge, reputation and location have a significant effect on interest. While the motivation does not affect the interest of SME’s entrepreneurs to propose financing in Islamic banks.Keywords: interest, knowledge, motivation, reputation and location AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan, motivasi, reputasi dan lokasi terhadap minat pengusaha UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah) mengajukan pembiayaan di bank syariah, tepatnya di Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) Kantor Cabang Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh nasabah UMKM yang mengajukan pembiayaan pada BSM Kantor Cabang Aceh. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling dan diperoleh sampel penelitian 95 responden. Untuk metode analisis data, menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda dengan SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan, motivasi, reputasi dan lokasi secara simultan mempengaruhi minat. Secara parsial, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan, reputasi dan lokasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat. Sementara motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat pengusaha UMKM mengajukan pembiayaan di bank syariah.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the potential of ethnobotany as an instrument of innovation in the development of student entrepreneurship based on local wisdom. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of abundant biodiversity and traditional knowledge of medicinal plants in Indonesia that have not been commercially optimized by the younger generation in the university environment. The main problem identified is the tendency of students to build generic operational businesses that lack originality in cultural values, so they are vulnerable to losing competition. This article uses a library research method with a qualitative-descriptive approach that synthesizes data from 15 selected scientific literature from 2012 to 2026. The results show that the integration of ethnobotanical knowledge into agribusiness and creative economy business models is able to transform the simplification of local plants into high-value-added commercial products. The latest in this article indicates that ethnobotanical exploration is not only limited to students of science study programs, but has become a trend across disciplines including law and agribusiness students to promote the green economy movement.
