Abstract

ABSTRACT Research of development has been done which is aim to develop student work sheets based on scientific approach for subjects digestion system on XI grade in senior high school. This research was did in study program of biology and 5 senior high school Pekanbaru on july until august 2015.  Subjects of research were basic competencies 3.7 on digestion system subjects. This research was started by  analyzing the curriculum, syllabus, and work sheets that arranged by Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). And then making the new design of the work sheets according to scientific approach they are 3 lecturers and 2 teachers. Validation aspects that was assessed consist of 3 aspects, which are planning, pedagogic, and the contents. After the validation, the work sheets were fixed according to the inputs and comments from validators and the work sheets part II were produced. After that the work sheets were given limited trial with spreading the students questionnaire responses in 5 senior high school to 17 students on XI grade science class. And next the work sheets were re-revision according to the inputs and comments from the limited trial so that produced the final result of the work sheets. The average of validation results that has been continued develop on digestion system subject are 3.26, 5.50, 3.40. Student responses to the work sheets aspects were 85 with very good category to non-experimental work sheets and 80 with good category to experimental work sheets. the research result showed that development of student work sheets based on scientific approach  for digestion system \subjects has successfully developed using develop model ADDIE with very valid and very good category. Keywords: development, student work sheets, scientific approach, digestion system

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study is develop of student worksheets based on constructivism on sirculation system for biology subject of class XI Senior High School. This development consisted of six student worksheets. This study was conducted in Biology Education Program University of Riau and Senior High School Babussalam Pekanbaru on September to December 2015. Validation sheets and student responses sheets were used as data collection instruments. Validation sheets were filled by the internal and external vaidators. Student responses sheet were filled by student class XI Senior High Scholl Babussalam Pekanbaru. The development of student worksheets use 4D pendekatan that consists of define, design, develop and disseminate but only until develop. Collected datas were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The result of this worksheets development showed that the student worksheets were very valid with score 3.38-3.64. Student responses to the worksheet were very good with score 3.33-3.72. Based on validation result and student responses, this students worksheets based on contruktivism approach could be implemented with filed test. Key words: Constructivism, Development, Student Worksheet, Sirculation System

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to analyze 21st century students skill in lecture of Engineering and Laboratory Management in Biology Education Program Faculty of Teacher Training University of Riau. This research is a descriptive research with population of all students who take the subjects of Engineering and Management Laboraturium academic year 2014/2015. The sample of the study was determined by total sampling technique based on qualitative and quantitative data, the data source came from the primary data. Primary data obtained from questionnaire with the number of respondents 88 students. The parameters used are 5 elements of 21st century skills consisting of digital age literacy, inventive thinking, effective communication, high productivity and spiritual/pure values associated with the lectures of Engineering and Laboratory Management. The data collection instruments used in this research are closed questionnaire and open questionnaire. Data analysis technique used is descriptive technique. The results of the analysis of research data indicate that 21st century skills of students who take the Engineering and Management courses of Laboraturium include good category with an average of 3.91. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that students who take the course of Engineering and Management Laboraturium able to face the challenges of the 21st century. Key Words: 21st Century Skills, Engineering and Laboraturium Management Lectures, profiles

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The purpose of this study was to develop a learning module oriented guided inquiry model of the material circulation system of class XI in improving students' critical thinking skills. Research conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Education Studies Program Faculty of Teaching and Education University of Riau and SMAN 1 Pekanbaru in February 2015 - May 2016. The research is a research development by using ADDIE model of integration to the stage of development. Instruments of data collection in this study is the assessment sheet / validation module, student questionnaire responses and critical thinking skills assessment sheet. Once the module is developed, validated by 4 validator then the tests I at 12 4th semester students of biology education FKIP UR and II trials in 20 students in Class XI SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The tests for aspects of the content presented, language, presentation and kegrafisan module obtained an average score 4.20 (valid). Aspects of the content presented is obtained an average score 4.28 (very valid), aspects of language obtained a score 4.07 (valid), then to obtain a grain aspect score 4.16 (valid) and aspects of kegrafisan obtain an average score 4.30 (very valid). In the student questionnaire responses in the experiment I belong to the category module SB (Very Good), while the second test the response of 20 students of the modules developed is 84% in one study and 82% in the second study with either category. As for the average results of analysis of students' answers on the learning modules acquire 82% considered good value. Abstract

ABSTRACT Has conducted a descriptive study aims to provide an overview of the scientific attitude of students on the course in the Aquatic Ecology Studies Program Riau University Biology Education Academic Year 2014/2015. The samples were students of Biology Education FKIP Riau University who took a course Aquatic Ecology Academic Year 2014/2015 amounted to 99 people. Parameter research is the scientific attitude indicators: an attitude of curiosity, collaboration, conscientious, honest, critical and responsible attitude. Data was collected using observation sheets, scientific attitude in the four meetings in the course Aquatic Ecology. The results showed that the attitude of scientific curiosity at every meeting is 74.12 - 77.69% to the category of good, conscientious attitude to every meeting is 72.47 - 80.30% with the good category, the attitude of responsibility is 73.23 - 77.78% good category, cooperative attitude of students is 75.51 - 89.65% excellent category, a critical stance is 73.23 - 77.53% categorized as good and honest attitude of students at each meeting is 73.23 - 76.52% with the good category. It can be concluded that the scientific attitude of students with the good category. Keywords : Scientific Attitude, Aquatic Ecology
