Abstract

Principal leadership is an attitude carried out by the principal which includes actions to influence and direct the teacher in improving the effective learning process at school. Teacher's Work Discipline is a form of obedience to the behavior of a teacher in complying with the rules and provisions that have to do with activities in the school. The objectives of this study are: to determine the effect of principals' leadership on the work discipline of social studies teachers in Ternate 3 Public High School, while the research method used in research uses survey types or quantative research methods with steps or stages in the form of pre-field and field stages. Based on the results of statistical analysis using the product moment correlation formula and to test the significance of the correlation (r) obtained, it must be consulted first with the values ​​of (r) prodect-moment. Therefore, the degree of freedom (db) must be determined first, namely by the formula: db = N-1 thus db = 9 - 1 = 8. Based on the statistical test, it is obtained that r count is greater than r table, that is 0.75> 0.666 means that based on empirical data as a result of testing in the field there is a positive and significant relationship, it is estimated that the leadership of the principal has a relationship or influence on the work discipline of social studies teachers Ternate City. Thus it can be estimated that if the leadership of the school leader gets better, the better the discipline of working teachers in schools, and vice versa.

Abstract

This research is expected to find out: 1) the inhibiting variables that cause the lack of attention of the youth of Jambula Village to study in additional schools. 2) financial/economic elements that make the younger generation of Jambula Village ignore further teaching. This kind of investigation is an undeniable abstract judgment. The number of respondents was 15. The certainty of the method in this study used purposive review/sampling, with the younger generation in Jambula Village as the main witnesses and the mentors/caregivers of teenagers as resource persons. Data collection techniques used are deepening/perception, meetings and documentation. The data checking methodology uses data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the internal components that make the youth of Jambula City further foster youth are: a) lack of inspiration or desire to continue to college, b) wanting to be independent by looking for work after continuing high school. 2) External factors that cause it are the financial or economic limitations of the school are very large and the social environment factor itself.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui klasifikasi tinggi atau rendahnya tingkat kecerdasan emosional (Emotional Quotien, EQ), motivasi mengajar dan kinerja guru, (2) mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kinerja guru guru, (3) mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi mengajar dengan kinerja guru guru, dan (4) mengetahui hubungan antara EQ dan motivasi mengajar dengan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini dengan metode ex-postfacto.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah guru IPS SMP di Provinsi Maluku Utara tahun 2019/2020. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran bahwa: (1) EQ, motivasi mengajar dan kinerja guru, termasuk dalam kategori tinggi;EQ dan kinerjaguru, termasuk dalam kategori tinggi;motivasi mengajar dengan Kinerja guru, termasuk dalam kategori sedang; (2) terdapat hubungan kuat positif antara EQ dengan kinerjaguru sebesar 0,634; (3) terdapat hubungan kuat positif antara motivasi mengajar dengan kinerja guru sebesar 0,641; dan (4) terdapat hubungan kuat positif antara EQ dan motivasi mengajar dengan kinerja guru sebesar 0,772.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the online learning system on interest in learning at STKIP Kie Raha, especially in students of the Geography Education study program. The technique of collecting data in this research is through observation techniques, literature review, and distributing questionnaires. The instrument in this study includes the independent variable (X) which is an online learning system and the dependent variable which is (Y) is the student's interest in learning. Testing of the instrument was carried out with normality test (Pearson Product Moment correlation), and reliability test (Cronbach's Alpha coefficient). Data analysis was carried out by simple linear regression, and to see the strength of the relationship between two variables, the Spearman Rank correlation test was used. The results of this study indicate that the online learning system can have an influence on student interest in learning. However, the effect here shows a negative relationship between the two variables. This can be seen from the negative regression coefficient value. It can be concluded that if online lectures increase, students' interest in learning decreases.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan quasi eksperiment dengan Non-Equaivalent Control Group Design. Variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu,variabel bebas berupa kelas kontrol  dan kelas eksperiment. Sedangkan variabel terikat berupa hasil belajar subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX A dan IX B SMA  Negeri 9  Kota Ternate dengan jumlah siswa 52 siswa yang terbagi atas kelas kontrol (26) dan kelas eksperiment (26). Penelitian ini menggunakan tes pilihan ganda berupa Pre-test dan posttest. Pengujian persyaratan hipotesis  menggunakan  uji normalitas (mengunakan teknik analisis Chi kuadrat) dan uji homogenitas validitas instrument. Reabilitas instrument tes hitung dengan  rumus. Diperoleh r = 0,827 yang berarti reabilitas instrument sangat tinggi.Teknik analisis data menggunkan uji-t kelompok terpisah (independent sample test).Uji-t digunakan unutk mengetahui perbidaan hasil belajar siswa.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar Pre-test kelas kontrol sebesar 47,19 dan nilai rata-rata Post-test sebesar 78,75 sedangkan pada kelas eksperiment dengan nilai rata-rata Pre-test sebesar 49,22 dan nilai rata-rata Post-test  sebesar 86,88,Peningkatan hasil belajar kelas kontrol sebsar 31,56 dan kelas eksperiment sebesar 37,66. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis macromedia flash lebih besar dari hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode konvensional pada materi Geografi Hidrologi di SMA Negeri 9 Kota Ternate. Analisis hasil tes siswa yang diuji dengan uji-t dengan porelahan thitung> ttabel (5,183>1,671).
