Abstract

The Indonesian government is currently facing a Covid-19 pandemic that is still beyond its control. From print media to electronic media, the mass media continues to report on the number of victims infected with this virus, and the number is declining. One of the predictive steps to prevent the spread of this virus is to maintain social distancing. As a formal educational institution, the school responded quickly to this situation. The school does not hope that by changing the face-to-face learning mode, the virus will spread in its environment. I.e. through distance learning or online learning (online). Therefore, this is the task of the teacher, that is, to be able to create various activities in online learning that can attract students' interest in learning. Especially learning English requires not only theory, but also a lot of practice. Therefore, interactive learning in the form of activities is required to allow students to actively participate in the online learning process. This research aims to obtain important information about the effectiveness of online distance learning (PJJ) for primary schools in Kediri City. The research methods used descriptive qualitative methods to 20 respondents. According to the analysis data, the research results show that online distance learning for elementary schools is considered to be quite effective. [Pemerintah Indonesia saat ini sedang menghadapi pandemi Covid-19 yang masih di luar kendali. Dari media cetak hingga media elektronik, media massa terus memberitakan jumlah korban yang terinfeksi virus ini, dan jumlahnya terus menurun. Salah satu langkah prediktif untuk mencegah penyebaran virus ini adalah dengan menjaga jarak sosial. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal, sekolah merespon dengan cepat situasi ini. Pihak sekolah tidak berharap dengan mengubah mode pembelajaran tatap muka, virus akan menyebar di lingkungannya, yaitu dengan melalui pembelajaran jarak jauh atau pembelajaran online. Oleh karena itu, inilah tugas guru yaitu mampu menciptakan berbagai aktivitas dalam pembelajaran online yang dapat menarik minat siswa untuk belajar. Apalagi belajar bahasa Inggris tidak hanya membutuhkan teori, tetapi juga banyak latihan. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran interaktif dalam bentuk kegiatan diperlukan agar siswa dapat berpartisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi penting tentang efektivitas pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) online untuk sekolah dasar di wilayah Kota Kediri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif terhadap 20 responden. Berdasarkan data analisis, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PJJ online untuk SD dinilai cukup efektif]

Abstract

Nussa animation is an animation which is categorized as a medium for preaching. Because the messages conveyed were thick with Islamic teachings. However, not all viewers can understand what messages are contained in the animation. Due to this reason, the study aims to determine the messages of moral da'wah that can be seen directly or indirectly with Ronald Barthes' semiotic theory. The method used in this research is qualitative analysis, with data in the form of documents. Data collection using observation and documentation. The theory that is used as the basis is Roland Barthes' semiotic theory which focuses on denotative and connotative meanings. The results of the study are the denotative meaning of dakwah morals, (1) Have an attitude of help. (2) Always say thank you for a help. (3) Always have a sincere nature when helping. (4) Doing rejection well. (5) Providing opportunities for children to do good (6) giving love to children. (7) always say "Astafirullah" when hit / hear a disaster and say "Alhamdulillah as a form of gratitude. Meanwhile, the meaning of the message of moral teaching is connotative, (1) It shows that Islam is a soft religion, rahmatan lil alamin, helpful and tolerant (2) Want to break the paradigm under the religion of Islam having followers who are very rigid and do not want to interact with other people. (3) Providing education to children to do good deeds with anyone regardless of status and religion.

Abstract

In the era of modernization today, shaping society depends on social media. Not except for generation Z in their teens before adulthood, a period where this generation has a process searching for identity, including in the process of religion, the phenomenon of generation Z's present migration in Kediri viewed from the perspective of the Rational Choice Theory. In this study, researchers used qualitative research with a phenomenological approach by observing and interviewing the Z generation who following the present hijrah as many as 19 people, consisting of 6 men and 13 women. The result of research on the phenomenon of generation Z contemporary hijrah in Kediri City is behavioral and cultural changes without any influence of ideology as the examples of transnational ideology. It is popular that Generation Z has done since following the hijrah process follows the hijrah in the path of self-awareness. It changes the habitual attributes used in everyday life, such as how to wear clothes in stars. The hijrah carried out by Generation Z has nothing to do with things that lead to an interest in joining or choices in politics or political activities.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of study was to describe the implementation of teaching reading by using jigsaw technique for at Islamic Institute, includingthe lecture‟s preparation in teaching reading by using jigsaw, the steps of teaching reading, the teaching media, the students‟ response and the obstacles faced by the lecturer. This research used descriptive qualitative approach as a research design. The subject was 45 students of the second semester. The methods used in collecting the data were observation, interview, and documentation. The data were collected by using three instruments: observation sheets, an interview guide, and a questionnaire. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the English lecturer at the Islami Institute used Jigsaw Technique as a model.The data analysis was based on three concurrent flows of activities, they were: data reduction, data display, and verification.The result of this study showed that the students like to learn reading in English by using Jigsaw Technique. Abstract

Educational systems around the world are heavily affected by this outbreak. By Covid 19, online learning became mainstream because there was no traditional classroom instruction. The closest alternative to the offline class. Such a background, student awareness of online learning systems adopted at the university level during the Covid 19 pandemic is in progress. The study aims to identify the student perceptions'. Ease of use and usefulness of online learning based on the Technology Acceptance Model. Analyze factors that influence students' perception of learning English online, especially in the context of EFL. In this study, a descriptive approach based on the survey method and responses from 215 students in Islamic Higher Education of Tribakti were accepted. The data were collected through online surveys and structured interviews. Samples were used to obtain samples, and 215 students were interviewed for further search. Information about their experience during the learning process. Research results show students have a positive attitude toward online learning and therefore accept new things in a learning system. It also empirically demonstrates the importance of online learning during Covid19 at the time of the crisis. Several factors influenced student perceptions. These were perceivers, objects, and situations. Participants agreed to this online learning has emerged as a new way to improve the learning process and can continue to improve the learning performance
