Abstract

Pervasive poverty remains a major challenge to the efforts of developmentin Indonesia. An economic empowerment for the people is something that must bedone, in order to obtain a national economic recovery. The growth of Indonesianeconomy that had been rapid before the financial crisis led to a state of oblivion madeby those economic agents and institutions functioned as the policy holders. While,on the other hand, negligence occurred as they had been shown in the economicactivities from the agents, which were unsupervised and out of control. Exchange rate crisis had turned into the most complex economic crisis ever experienced by Indonesia, at least since the New Order era empowered. This economic crisisultimately created a great economic recession by itself and increased the level ofpoverty and gap in the income distribution in the country. Fourteen years passedthe Reformation Era, but these had not still been able to touch all of the aspects ofnational life. Only the formal legal issues reformed neatly. However, the main issues,such as corruption, poverty, unemployment and injustice could not still done untilthe Indonesian nation has completely reformed in total. Traditional sector, whichwas firstly considered unimportant as a barrier to the economic growth, later itplayed an important role in tackling with the poverty. Based on a study conductedby a number of economists, strategies within the citizen economic empowermentto cope with poverty in Indonesia are formulated through one policy package thathas a characteristic of complimentary and they support each other, so that, they arecapable to deal with the level of poverty in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is carried out based on the little contribution income oftourism sector towards the real income of Klungkung regency for eight years whereas the tourism facilities that have been availabel sufficiently to attract the moretotal tourists visit. The variable use in this researdh involves : the total tourist visit (X1), the totaltaxes of restaurants and hotels (X2), the total retribution of tourism object (X3) andtotal real income (Y) of Klungkung Regency in the year 2003 to 2010. The instrument analysis which is used in this research are regression linier is use to analyze the influence of the total tourist visit, total taxes in restaurant and hotel income, tourist objects retribution toward the real income of Klungkung regency foreight years 2003 to 2010 The result of the research is that the total tourist visit, restourant and hotels incometaxes, and retribution of tourist resorts places all together significantly affectedthe original Regional Revenues of Klungkung Regency from 2003 to 2010. Thetotal tourist visit place partially and significantly affected the Original RegionalRevenues of Klungkung from 2003 to 2010, The taxes imposed upon the hotel andrestourant partially but insignificantly affected the Original Regional Revenues ofKlungkung from 2003 to 2010. And retribution of tourist risorts places partiallybut insignificantly but insignificantly affected the Original Regional Revenues from2003 to 2007.

Abstract

Globalization in the fi eld of industry cannot be avoided along withthe development of telecommunication. By the development of communicationstechnology, the business competitions are more competitive. Therefore, the cellularoperators compete to provide excellent service by offering a wide range of productvariants all of which focused on increasing customer satisfaction. The increasing ofcustomer satisfaction will result in the increase of customer loyalty. And that is alsoimplemented by Telkomsel (Kartu Halo), one of the cellular operators. The KartuHalo outlet in Tabanan optimizes their various facilities and services to enhancecustomer satisfaction. However, customer complaints always arise and result in thedeclining number of costumer who activated the card in Kartu Halo Outlet in Tabanan. From that point we will questioning, is there any infl uence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. The results of the study show that customer satisfaction has asignifi cant effect on customer loyalty. So it is suggested to the company managementto constantly improve customer satisfaction through the improvement of qualityservice, which in turn is expected to increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

The success of an organization is determined by the quality of thosepeople who work in it. Competency is a developing problem, in which it hasbeen frequently discussed in the middle of society nowadays, especially when anorganization is facing challenges and competitions that are getting harder andharder. Due to those competition matters as the impacts of quick changes in bothtechnology and environment on each aspects of the human life, a manager has nomore choice, except to make the organization that he or she is leading now, to be notonly able to give a consumer satisfaction, produce any high quality and competitiveproducts in the market, and has an orientation on its customer value. As the result,the organization will not only be oriented to achieve a high productivity of work, butalso it will also deal with the performance on its process. The employees’ competence supports the success of an organization so much andit is obviously able to make its mission come true by paying attention to the relationbetween both selection and selection plan. Therefore, the role of competency inan organization will be apparently not only able to enhance the high productivityof an organization without accompanied by the rewarding system and measuredperformance evaluation.

Abstract

In this millennium century there is no place without competition and competition has been and will become new principles,because the business worldwhich is open and compete to carry out better thing. These conditions require achange and development continuesly. All of these if not immediately improvewill threaten the survival of the organization / company life. In other words theimpact of globalization will be a big and serious threat if organization doesn’thave strong, reliable and dynamic leadership as according with development oforganization environment strategic (internal and external).In the process of organizational development very needed leadershiprole undertaken by a leader and leadership effectiveness can be judged by how he able to overcome the main problems and challenges faced. The key to create andcontinuing organization in the 21st century in order to success is leadership, donot only at the top of the hierarchy, but in the entire of organization. This means that inthe coming decades we will see the emergence of new organizational forms whichovercome with more rapid movement and more competitive environment and newtypes of workers, at least in a successful company.Suitable leadership can be applied at this time in developingof organization is superleadership that is someone who leads theirself asan empowering leader . A Superleadership will make empower, train, teach,reward and arranging the environment to make his subordinates able tolead themselves and can show its performance.

Abstract
