Abstract

Product of the book developed is based on the scientific rule of geography content standard and the ruleof book writing through modification of Dick and Cary Model (2001). Procedures of development for this model consist of ten step but in this case,only five step were done. They are: 1) identifying competence standard, basic competence and indicator based on the concept BSNP, 2) analyzing the learning material, 3) improving and writing text books, 4) validating text books, 5) revising the final product of text book development. Based on the result of validation on material expert, text book is in good category (67%). The result of validation on learning design, text book is in good category (69%). The result of test on the students, text book is in very good category (75%). While the result of test on teacher, text book is in very good category (82%).

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the effect of e-learning platform utilization and digital literacy on elementary students’ critical thinking skills. The study responds to the need for enhancing 21st-century learning by strengthening higher-order thinking skills. A quantitative survey method was employed at SDN Bugih 1 Pamekasan, involving 137 upper-grade elementary students (Grades IV–VI), and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test both simultaneous and partial effects. The results show that e-learning platform utilization and digital literacy simultaneously have a significant positive effect on students’ critical thinking skills (R² = 0.524). Partially, both e-learning platform utilization and digital literacy also demonstrate significant positive effects, with e-learning showing a stronger contribution. Practically, these findings suggest that elementary teachers should move beyond using e-learning merely for material distribution by integrating inquiry-based online tasks and explicit digital literacy instruction to foster students’ critical thinking.

Abstract

The learning outcomes in the subjects of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) serve as a key indicator reflecting students' understanding of environmental and social phenomena, as well as a foundation for developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in primary education in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the influence of learning motivation, parental involvement, and digital literacy on the IPAS learning outcomes of upper-grade students at SD Negeri Tlontoraja 8, Pasean District, Pamekasan Regency. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that all three variables, both simultaneously and partially, have a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design, which aims to test the relationships between variables without experimental manipulation. The sampling technique used is total sampling, involving 65 students as respondents. Data was collected through validated questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that learning motivation, parental involvement, and digital literacy simultaneously have a significant effect on IPAS learning outcomes (F = 493.206, p < 0.05, R² = 0.782). Partially, learning motivation (t = 7.886, p < 0.05), parental involvement (t = 4.528, p < 0.05), and digital literacy (t = 7.465, p < 0.05) each have a positive and significant effect. These findings emphasize that enhancing student learning motivation, parental involvement, and strengthening digital literacy are crucial strategies for improving students' conceptual understanding and academic achievement in IPAS learning at the primary school level.
