Abstract

Oleh: Sri Santi Patarani1, Warsiti 2,Joharman3 FKIP, PGSD Universitas Sebelas Maret 1 Mahasiswa S1 PGSD FKIP UNS 2, 3 Dosen S1 PGSD FKIP UNS e-mail: pataranishanty@yahoo.com   Abstract:The application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model?s (CTL) in Increased Understanding of Fraction Operations Fourth Grade Student SDN Sitirejo in academic year 2012/2013. This research is classroom action research (CAR) aims to improve understanding about fractions operations by CTL model. The research was conducted in three cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. Source data came from students, peers and researchers. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and testing. The validity of data using triangulation technical and  methods. Analysis of the data with qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed conclusions that the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model?s (CTL) the steps are: (1) aperception activity; (2) Modelling; (3) Constructivism; (4) Inquiri; (5) Learning Community; (6) Authentic Assesment; (7) Questioning; (8) Reflection; (9) Feed back, can increase understanding of fraction operations fourth grade school. Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning, fraction operation.   Abstrak: Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam Peningkatan Pemahaman tentang Operasi Pecahan Siswa Kelas IV SDN Sitirejo Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas IV tentang operasi pecahan.Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Sumber data berasal dari siswa, teman sejawat dan peneliti. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran CTL dengan langkah-langkah antara lain: (1) Kegiatan apersepsi; (2) Pemodelan; (3) Konstruktivisme; (4) Inkuiri; (5) Masyarakat Belajar; (6) Penilaian Nyata; (7) Bertanya; (8) Refleksi; (9) Pemberian umpan balik, dapat meningkatkan pemahaman tentang operasi pecahan pada siswa kelas IV.   Kata Kunci: Contextual Teaching and Learning, Operasi Pecahan.
