Abstract

Human fingerprints are unique in this world. This is why human fingerprints are frequently used as a form of identification or self-recognition. Human fingerprints are classified into three categories: whorl, arch, and loop. The wavelet transformation is used because it is capable of identifying discontinuous lines. Because human fingerprints contain discontinuous lines, this method is ideal for recognizing fingerprint images, which are then compared to database images. Additionally, the method of image processing with Matlab software and integration with a GUI (Graphical User Interface) is described, so that it can be used to recognize human fingerprint types.

Abstract

The research describes the effect of weights on the calibration results of an analytical balance. This study aims to obtain the uncertainty value of the analytical balance test results by comparison with the standard E2 class weights. The study results can be used to determine the feasibility of the measuring instrument tested through the analysis of the performance value of the scales based on the Limit of Performance (LOP) parameter. The method used is a direct comparison method with E2 class weights. The calibration process carried out in this method includes the measurement of repeatability of readings, deviations from the nominal value indication, the effect of loading not at the centre of the pan, and hysteresis. The data analysis includes standard deviation values, minimum correction values, hysteresis, uncertainty, and LOP. The calibration results show that the reading power of the standard deviation of the load at ½ maximum capacity and full maximum capacity is 0.0042 grams. Deviations at measuring points 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, and 200 grams have a maximum correction value of 0.04995 grams with a maximum measurement uncertainty of 0.006378585 grams and a value of k=2.0 at 95% confidence level. In the performance table of the scales based on the LOP value, it is known that the performance of the scales is in the poor category, and it is more advisable to repair the tool.

Abstract

The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia was high at 26.92% in 2020. The highest stunting rate at the Puskesmas in Padang City is the Ikur Koto Puskesmas (16.0%). Nutrition-conscious family behavior is one of the efforts to overcome stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutrition-conscious family behavior and the incidence of stunting in the working area of Puskesmas Ikur Koto in 2023. The research method used is quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The study was conducted in March-August 2023. This research approached 91 respondents used the simple random sampling method. Data was collected by interview using questioner and measurement with microtoise. Data analysis with chi-square statistical test. The results showed that (57.1%) toddlers were stunted. (51.6%) families do not behave nutritionally consciously. Based on statistical tests, it was found that there is a significant relationship between nutrition conscious family behavior and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the Ikur Koto Health Center Working Area in 2023 (ρ-value = 0.001). This study suggest that the Ikur Koto Health care center would be providing nutrition consultations to mothers of toddlers, Health Center Ikur Koto need provide a nutrition conscious family surveys every year, increase counseling, conduct home visits for toddlers who have not received Vitamin A supplements, provide additional food and conduct balanced food cooking demonstrations.

Abstract

Hidroponik adalah teknik bercocok tanam dengan menggunakan media selain tanah, contohnya adalah air. Air merupakan nutrisi bagi tanaman yang disirkulasikan dengan pompa. Sirkulasi air beroperasi secara terus-menerus, untuk itu memerlukan daya listrik dalam jumlah besar, sehingga membutuhkan  panel surya  sebagai alat yang dapat mengkonversi cahaya matahari menjadi energi listrik. Panel surya digunakan untuk menyalakan pompa dan sistem kendali pH dan level larutan nutrisi. Panel surya diuji dengan variasi kemiringan sudut, sedangkan sistem kendali pH dan level larutan nutrisi diuji menggunakan respon waktu. Set point kendali pH yaitu 6-7 dan kendali level larutan nutrisi yaitu 18-20 cm. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan, panel surya menghasilkan daya listrik terbesar 20,59 watt pada sudut  0° Pukul 12:15, sedangkan daya terkecil 2,54 watt pada sudut 30°pukul 15:00. Adapun rata-rata waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mengendalikan  pH <6 yaitu 12 menit , sedangkan kondisi >7 yaitu 18 menit, dan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mengendalikan level larutan < 20 cm yaitu 1 menit. Rata-rata perhari daya listrik yang dihasilkan panel surya adalah 244,4 watt  dan daya yang digunakan untuk mengoperasikan pompa hidroponik beserta sistem kendalinya yaitu 123,9 watt. Dengan demikian, panel surya yang digunakan dapat mengoperasikan sistem pengendalian pH dan level air nutrisi tanaman hidroponik sampai masa panen.

Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu cara memurnikangas alam adalah melalui proses distilasi menggunakan Dehydration glycol unit. Pemurnian caraklasik ini masih digunakan hingga sekarang sehinggahampir di setiap kilang gas menggunakan Dehydration glycol unit dalam prosesnya.Oleh karena itu memahami cara kerja dan cara mengendalikan Dehydration glycolunit penting bagi seorangmahasiswayang akan atau sedang bekerja dalam bidang oil and gas.Makalah ini membahas sebuah simulator untuk memahami cara kerja dan mengendalikan plant Dehydration glycol unit dengan pengontrol PID yang ditala berdasar metode manual Ziegler-Nichols dan swa-talarelay.Simulator dibuat berdasar algoritme Euler dan diimplementasikan dengan JavaScript agar bisa dijalankan sebagai aplikasi berbasis web. Simulasi dengan JavaScript relatif mudah dilakukan dikarenakan penulisan kode yang ringkas dan terdapat pustaka-pustaka pendukung. Sementara itu dari hasil simulasi, didapati bahwa respons penalaan manual menghasilkan overshoot dan memiliki waktu lebih cepat dalam mencapai setpoint. Sebaliknya penalaan swa-tala tidak menghasilkan overshootwalau lebih lama untuk mencapai nilai setpoint.
