Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media animasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Koto Rendah. Penelitian merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen (exsperiment research). Populasi dalam penelitian berasal dari mahasiswa kelas XI IPA Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Koto Rendah yang berjumlah 33 orang. Sampel penelitian berasal dari kelas kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Tes objektif. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji-T. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media animasi dalam pembelajaran biologi dikelas XI IPA MAS Koto Rendah diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 82.29 dengan standar deviasi 9.506, 2) Hasil belajar siswa yang tidak menggunakan media animasi dalam pembelajaran biologi dikelas XI IPA MAS Koto Rendah diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 68.55 dengan standar deviasi 6.642, 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media animasi dalam pembelajaran biologi kelas XI IPA MAS Koto Rendah dengan nilai uji-T sebesar 0.00 < 0.05

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) toward students’ learning cognitive competence. The design of the research was semi experimental research that used the static group comparison design. The population of this research were all of nineth-grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Kerinci. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique. The instrument of this research was objective test or multiple choise to get students’ learning cognitive competence data. Based on the t- test, the research showed that students’ learning cognitive competence who learning by using STAD was better than students’ learning cognitive competence in control group.
