Abstract

Education is an effort to develop the potential of students in the learning environment. So that in achieving these educational goals, it will not be separated from a good learning system. So it is necessary to understand that: learning activities are a unified whole (system) to achieve an expected goal; there are components of the learning system which broadly consist of input, process, output-outcome, and specifically consist of objectives, materials, methods, media, evaluation; There are several factors that influence the learning system, namely the factors of educators, students, infrastructure, and learning environment.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan Islam merupakan institusi pendidikan yang diharapkan mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki jiwa spiritual dan intelektual yang tinggi. Maka eksistensi lembaga pendidikan Islam harus dipertahankan dengan adanya program unggulan, yang kemudian diharapkan mampu menjawab tantangan dan tuntutan modernisasi, kemajuan globalisasi, dan informasi saat ini. Metode kajian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dan metode penyajian datanya adalah deskriptif analisis, serta dirancang dengan pendekatan pustaka yang menelusuri beberapa pembahasan tentang pengembangan pendidikan, pendidikan Islam, dan program unggulan. Hasil dari pembahasan dalam kajian ini adalah 1) pengembangan pendidikan Islam memiliki makna secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang dapat diusahakan dengan cara menerapkan program unggulan; 2) dasar pemikiran pengembangan pendidikan Islam harus berpijak pada landasan preskriptif (landasan religius, filosofis, dan yuridis) dan landasan deskriptif (landasan ilmiah); 3) paradigma pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang menonjol adalah ortodoksi, islamisasi, atau modernisasi Islam, 4) strategi pengembangan pendidikan Islam dapat dilakukan dengan cara mempersiapkan hal-hal yang bersifat prinsip dan dilanjutkan dengan melakukan usaha-usaha yang bersifat praktik, dan 5) inovasi pengembangan pendidikan Islam salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan program madrasah ungulan.

Abstract

The implementation of Islamic education by educational units cannot be separated from various problems that arise, both problems related to the quality of education and its management. This article discusses the problems of Islamic Religious Education that occur at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ittihad Belung District, Malang Regency, East Java Province. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The results of this research show that there are two problematic factors, namely: first, internal factors which include facilities and infrastructure, students, educators, and curriculum; second, external factors which include the role of student parents, community involvement and government concern. So the solution and development offer is to complete the necessary facilities/facilities; increasing the competence of educators (teachers); developing students' learning motivation; develop and implement learning objectives optimally; and establishing good cooperation with parents, the community and the government
