<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang proses pelaksanaan rekrutmen Pegawai Negeri Sipil dengan sistem CAT tahun 2018 pada Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Pemerintah Kota Pontianak. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode deskriptif adalah penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menjelaskan atau menggambarkan variabel masa lalu dan sekarang. Permasalahan yang ada dalam pelaksanaan penerimaan CPNS dengan menggunakan sistem online cukup menarik untuk diteliti mengingat masih ada beberapa syarat yang bisa membuat tes CPNS di lapangan menjadi baik diantaranya keandalan, Praktibilitas, Kegunaan. Hasil Penelitian ini keandalan sistem CAT ini memberi penilaian dan soal kepada peserta tes dan kemampuan sistem ini bekerja dalam kondisi apapun, Praktibilitas dimana struktur dan operasinya dapat mudah dimengerti dan prosedurnya mudah diiikuti, Kegunaan Suatu sistem informasi harus menghasilkan informasi yang tepat waktu dan relevan bagi pengambilan keputusan manajemen dan personil operasi didalam suatu organisasi. Peneliti memberikan saran perlunya perencanaan yang matang terhadap pelaksanaan penerimaan CPNS melalui sistem CAT, agar memberikan pelatihan dalam pengenalan tes secara online kepada para peserta tes CPNS yang mengikuti penerimaan kedepannya. Abstract This research is intended to provide an explanation of the process of implementing the recruitment of Civil Servants with the 2018 CAT system at the Regional Civil Service Agency of Pontianak City Government. The research method used in this research is to use a qualitative descriptive method. Descriptive method is research conducted by explaining or describing the past and present variables. The problems that exist in the implementation of acceptance of CPNS by using an online system are quite interesting to study considering there are still some conditions that can make CPNS tests in the field to be good including reliability, reliability, usefulness. The results of this study the reliability of this CAT system provides assessment and questions to test takers and the ability of this system to work in any condition, the prerequisite where the structure and operation can be easily understood and the procedure is easy to follow, the usefulness of an information system must produce information that is timely and relevant for retrieval management decisions and operating personnel within an organization.
