Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether reality counseling can increase learning motivation. This research is an experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The subjects of this study were 10 students who have low learning motivation and meet several criteria in the research subject. Selection of research subjects based on the results of interviews with counseling teachers. Before and after treatment. The data analysis used the percentage descriptive data analysis technique and the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the motivation to learn before getting reality counseling was included in the low criteria with a percentage of 48.2%. After receiving reality counseling, it increased to 63% with moderate criteria. Thus there was a positive change of 15.3%. The results of the calculation of the Wilcoxon test before and after getting treatment, obtained Zhitung = 2.20> Ztabel = 0 with a significance level of 5% so that it is stated that Ha is accepted. In other words, reality counseling can increase low learning motivation. The conclusion of this study is that learning motivation can be improved through reality counseling services.

Abstract

The research objective was to solve student case problems related to religious and moral issues in the study of interfaith guidance and counseling and the handling of students with religious and moral problems in the study of interfaith guidance and counseling. To answer this problem, the researcher used a case study research type with a descriptive approach. Regarding the case of students from this study that the students' religious and moral problems were handled by providing therapy, this stage was the stage of developing problem-solving strategies in counseling. The main problem in this research comes from oneself, who is less open, namely in the field of religious and moral issues, while the other factors that influence it, such as family life conditions, school conditions, mass media, friends, and the surrounding community are very influential on the formation. Personality which includes patterns of thought, character, traits, attitudes and behavior. Then the results of the therapy that have been carried out show results such as: (1) the child is able to cooperate with his friends and the relationship with the teacher is close; (2) Children have started to be active in class, as well as have started to actively ask questions about the material taught by the teacher; (3) The child begins to be confident and diligent in going to school because the biological mother pays attention to school fees; (4) His absence from school has started to decrease; (5) Indecent and rude words have begun to be abandoned; (6) Threats to classmates who are considered weak are no longer carried out; (7) Homework assignments begin and notes begin to be completed. Start speaking and behaving politely to friends and teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Islamic education in Islamic guidance and counseling, as an attempt to describe and explain the problems of education in general and Islamic education, and the relationship between Islamic education in Islamic guidance and counseling. The development of today's era greatly affects the world of education, so that in the world of education there are many new discoveries that change the mindset of educators, from a conventional mindset to a modern mindset. Islamic education is a process of preparing the younger generation to fill roles, transferring knowledge and Islamic values ​​that are aligned with human functions to do good in the world and reap the rewards in the hereafter. Guidance and counseling is an integral part of education, meaning an inseparable part, a comprehensive part, a part that infiltrates all parts of education. Islamic education places humans as the main subject and target for developing all the potential that exists in order to become a more perfect human being (insan kamil) to get a share of the world and the hereafter.
