Abstract

Posyandu is a form of health service where the management and implementation come from, by and with the community to improve health development, improve public health by empowering the community, and become a basic service for the community in order to accelerate the reduction of maternal and infant mortality. This type of research is a pre-experiment using a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were mothers who attended the posyandu, totaling 35 people using the Sampling Technique: Purposive Sampling. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of providing education on the use of posyandu during the covid 19 pandemic. The results of the research on the use of posyandu during the Covid 19 pandemic before providing education, the majority were still low at 18 respondents (46.2%), while the use of posyandu during the Covid 19 pandemic after providing education increased to a high category of 20 respondents (51.3 %). Conclusion There are differences in the quality of posyandu utilization during the Covid 19 pandemic before and after being given education, with a p value (0.000) < (0.05). These results prove that there is a significant effect between the provision of education on the use of Posyandu during the COVID-19 pandemic in Sei Rotan Village. These results prove that the provision of education can provide positive changes to the use of Posyandu during the covid pandemic.

Abstract

Menarche is a sign that a young woman has entered the maturity stage, especially the organs of the reproductive system. Anxiety can occur due to a lack of information about menstruation and poor health education from parents. Peer group health education is a variety of activities carried out to develop the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the target group which are carried out among the peer groups themselves. The research objective was to determine the effect of peer group health education on the level of anxiety of female adolescents in facing menarche. This type of research uses quantitative and the design of this study uses the One Group Pretest-Postest design. The number of samples was 15 students. The instrument used was the SARS anxiety level questionnaire sheet. Data analysis was performed using the t-dependent test. The results of the research before being given health education were 12 people (85.7%) moderate anxiety, 2 people (14.3%) mild anxiety. Then after being given health education, there were 11 people (78.6%) mild anxiety, 3 (21.4%) moderate anxiety. The results of statistical tests with the t-dependent test obtained a value of 0.002 <0.05, meaning that there was a significant influence between the effect of peer group health education on the level of anxiety in young women in facing menarche. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant influence between peer group method health education on the level of anxiety in girls in facing menarche at SD IT Ummi Aida Medan in 2019. Suggestions for research sites are to apply to all students of SD IT Ummi Aida Medan to use the peer group method as one of the alternative ways to increase readiness to face menarche.

Abstract

Self-concept is a holistic view of himself, which includes his abilities, feelings he experiences, his physical condition and his immediate environment. Negative self-concept is triggered by several things, ranging from the inability to respect oneself to the inability to play a role in the family environment and friends around it. One of the ages at risk for developing a negative self-concept is teenagers. One way to change adolescent self-concept from Negative to Positive is by Therapeutic Group Therapy. Group therapy is an important place for social learning because social interaction is a key aspect of the adolescent development process. This study aims to determine the effect of Therapeutic Group Therapy on improving the self-concept of the VII private Madrasah Tsanawiyah students in the city of Pinang Utara, North Sumatra in 2021. This study used a pre-experimental type with a one group pretest and posttest design. The number of the research population was 150 people from several seventh grade students who had negative self-concepts. The number of samples is 16 people, using the Non Probability technique, the instrument used is the TSCS Questionnaire whose validity has been tested by previous researchers. The results of the study using the Paired T Test obtained p value 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is an effect of Therapeutic Group Therapy on the Improvement of Student Self-Concept VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Private Islamiyah City of Pinang, North Sumatra in 2021.

Abstract

Menopause is the last menstruation, one of the psychological aspects of changebody imageDuring menopause, it is certain that menopausal women become anxious about their bodies and form a body image about how their bodies are. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body image and anxiety levels during menopause at the Pintu Padang Health Center, Batang Angkola District in 2022. This type of research uses descriptive correlation and the design of this study uses a cross sectional design, the population in this study isall postmenopausal women visiting the PuskesmasPintu Padang, Batang Angkola District from January to July onin 2022 as many as 300 people.The sampling technique was purposive sampling, the number of samples was 75 people. The instrument used was a body image questionnaire sheet and an anxiety level. Data analysis was carried out with univariate and bivariate using testchi square. The results showed that the body image of the majority of respondents was high as many as 42 people (56%), the anxiety level of the majority of respondents was not anxious as many as 53 people (70.7%). The results of statistical tests with chi square values obtained. As much as 0.000 <0.05, it means that there is a relationship between body image and anxiety levels during menopause at the Pintu Padang Health Center, Batang Angkola District in 2022. The conclusion of the study is that there is a relationship between body image and anxiety levels during menopause at the Pintu Padang Health Center, Batang Angkola District in 2022. It is recommended for health workers to play an active role in increasing the knowledge of menopausal women in order to know and be aware of the changes that occur.
