Abstract

ABSTRACT :This study focuses on two main points of the problem, namely how the concept of prophethood according to religions and how the comparison between the concept of prophethood in Islam and Mormon Christianity. As for this type of research, it is library-based, while the method of collection is by using the documentation method. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences and similarities between these two religions. His similarities reveal that the Prophet was not an ordinary human being, he was appointed as the representative of God, he was assigned to bring news to mankind, acknowledged other Prophets. Among the differences lies in the Mormon belief that the prophet is unbroken, the congregation is free to choose the prophet, apostasy for those who reject the prophet and the concept of the restoration of the church as the key to prophethood. While Islam believes that the Prophet is the last messenger, all Prophets are chosen by God, the rejection of the Prophet is not to the degree of apostasy and there is no concept of restoration as the restoration of the Mormon Christian church. Abstract

This paper discusses the meaning of qiradah contained in QS. Al-Baqarah [2]:65. The meaning of qiradah has been interpreted by the community as monkeys. Even though the word qiradah is not only interpreted in an essential way. This study aims to find various meanings of qiradah with several verses using a semiotic approach. In this study, the author uses Roland Barthes' semiotic approach, namely denotation and connotation to reveal the meaning of qiradah. To achieve this goal, this research uses qualitative methods. The results of this study conclude that: First, in the linguistic system or the denotative meaning of the word qiradah, it does not only mean monkeys, but monkeys that have no shame. Second, the system of mythology or connotative meaning. The word qiradah in this system shows not the physical meaning, but the disgraceful nature that positions a person in humiliation. the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an related to animals needs to be developed in order to expand the study of the science of interpretation of the Qur'an in order to prove the dynamic elements of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Tartib nuzuli (understanding the Qur’an considering arrangement drop of exposure) is one of the strategies for translating the Qur’an that researchers seldom discuss). Among the researchers who focused on the idea was Angelika Neuwirth. Tartib nuzuli initiated by Neuwirth can add to the investigation of the Qur'an. The review utilized a subjective exploration of the ancestry hypothesis to show up at Neuwirth's reasoning. The results showed that Neuwirth emphasized the need for hermeneutic devices to bring the Post-canonized Qur'an to life based on its chronology. With a literary and historical approach, the Qur'an is analyzed in synchronic and synchronized through time frames (beginning with pre- canonization in the Meccan phase). Furthermore, the Qur'an is analyzed with units of letters and intertextuality. Neuwirth's marginalized opinion was his critique of the study of scholars who focused on post-codification texts rather than uncovering his pre-canonized side. Despite the attention to the aspect of canonization, some Western scholars still produce sensitive arguments, as well as Muslim scholars who do not necessarily make Tartib nuzuli a method of Qur'anic interpretation. Among the factors of Neuwirth's thought: Firstly, his early interest in the Qur'an, literature, and history. Secondly, he was affected by his educators, for example, Anthonie, to reinforce his advantage in investigating the Qur’an. Thirdly, they are affected by the considerations of prior figures who are also consensual in the idea of the Qur’an order. Among the ramifications of Neuwirth's reasoning: 1) present a variety of strategies for translation; 2) open a more open and logical exchange; 3) it is the center ground of concepts in the Qur’an; and 4) the Corpus Coranicum was shaped like an actual demonstration of his reasoning.
