Abstract

Engineering education in aviation vocational education builds up skills and attitudes. Students must deal with the laboratory complexity, especially in radar training. Students must understand so much basic knowledge and enhance their skills. The high equipment cost and inflexibility of current learning make radar training less effective and cognitive. Augmented Reality (AR) integrated with laboratory activities is an opportunity to improve learning outcomes for vocational education training in an online learning platform. This study aims to find student learning problems in radar training and propose a framework for integrating virtual radar laboratories with Augmented Reality. This research used a descriptive analysis approach and a literature study. A survey at four Aviation Polytechnics in Indonesia results in cognitive load and troubleshooting skills as the main problem in radar training. The proposed framework concept for laboratory integration with Augmented Reality is added a learning style: the VARK framework and Augmented Reality design with a 5E-based model to make laboratory interaction design. Virtual laboratory integration with Augmented Reality with learning style proposed to enhance laboratory activity to achieve the troubleshooting capability on radar laboratory and make this learning more flexible and personalized.

Abstract

Batu kapur ditambang oleh CV Tekad Jaya dengan menggunakan sistem penambangan terbuka dengan teknik penambangan quarry. Metode peledakan digunakan dalam kegiatan pemecahan batuan. Hasil dari prosedur peledakan belum ideal karena masih terdapat hasil fragmentasi yang lebih besar dari 80 cm sebanyak 31,35%. Hal ini belum sesuai dengan target ukuran fragmen >80 cm tidak melebihi 10 persen seperti yang direncanakan. Untuk mencapai hasil fragmentasi yang diinginkan, Teori Kuz-Ram digunakan untuk memperbaiki geometri peledakan berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi dampak geometri peledakan terhadap fragmentasi batuan. Data aktual geometri peledakan; burden 2,18 meter, spasi 3,16 meter, kedalaman lubang ledak 5,53 meter, tinggi jenjang 5,19 meter, stemming 3,09 meter, subdrilling 0,34 meter, pengisian kolom 2,45 meter, dan powder factor 0,26 kg/m3. Geometri tersebut menghasilkan fragmentasi boulder ukuran >80 cm sebanyak 31,35%. Perbaikan usulan geometri peledakan dengan menggunakan teori Kuz-Ram yaitu burden 1,9 meter, spasi 2,85 meter, kedalaman lubang ledak 6,46 meter, tinggi jenjang 5,99 meter, stemming 1,33 meter, subdrilling 0,47 dan powder factor 0,61 kg/m3. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan, proporsi bongkahan material yang berukuran lebih besar dari 80 cm menjadi 3,19%. Hal ini telah sesuai dengan target perusahaan yaitu ukuran fragmentasi hasil peledakan > 80 cm kurang dari 10%.
