Abstract

The teacher's role is very important in the education process. A teacher not only delivers course content tothe students, but also provides character education by being an example of good character and integrity. Therefore, the task of a teacher is a noble task. It is an honorable profession. In the context of Christian Education, Jesus Christ must become our main example and the Master ofthe education process, lead by a christian teacher. Jesus is the Teacher of all teachers, He not only delivers informations and knowedge, but also changes the life of the people who follow Him.

Abstract

If we look at the course of our national education curriculum then we see that the government has struggled to bring a curriculum that is in accordance with the context of learning Indonesian society, it is proven through research change of curriculum that has been going on 10 times.In an effort to understand the history of the national education curriculum mentioned above, the author tries to raise a topic that is closely related to the history of the curriculum and its relationship with the curriculum of Christian Education held inChristian theology / religion schools in remote areas of this country.

Abstract

Signs of people learn can be seen from the occurrence of transformation in a person. Transformation is a change of behavior. Behavioral change touches the three domains of education within the learner, the cognitive domain, the affective domain, and the psycotor realm or better known as the domain of knowledge, the sphere of attitude, and the skill domain. Learning is essentially a change that occurs within a learner after the end of a learning activity. Because after a person ends learning activities there is usually knowledge and insight informed to the learner, which makes the learner think and contemplate the results of learning, so he can take a decision from the learning results.

Abstract

Abstract Teachers are "professional workers" who are required to have professional educational abilities, namely having expertise in carrying out the task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating students. In addition, teachers must also have a steady personality in the process of transferring knowledge from the learning resources available to students. The ability of teachers to motivate students is a responsibility that must be done well so that it can increase students' interest and enthusiasm in doing Christian Religious Education learning tasks. The purpose of this study is to find out how Christian Religious Education teachers have the ability to motivate students and how to keep students enthusiastic in doing Christian Religious Education learning tasks, as well as why motivation is very important for students' lives. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The focus of this study is to find that the ability of Christian Religious Education teachers to motivate students is very important, so that it is able to foster students' interest and enthusiasm in doing Christian Religious Education learning tasks. Abstrak Guru adalah “pekerja profesional” yang dituntut memiliki kemampuan profesional kependidikan, yaitu memiliki keahlian dalam melaksanakan tugas mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, dan mengevaluasi peserta didik. Selain itu, guru juga harus memiliki kepribadian yang mantap dalam proses pemindahan ilmu dari sumber belajar yang tersedia kepada siswa. Kemampuan guru dalam memotivasi siswa adalah sebuah tanggungjawab yang harus dilakukan dengan baik sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat dan semangat siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk menemukan bagaimana cara guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen memiliki kemampuan memotivasi siswa dan  bagaimana cara agar siswa tetap semangat dalam mengerjakan tugas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama kristen, serta mengapa motivasi sangat penting bagi kehidupan siswa. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan bahwa kemampuan guru Pendidikan Agama kristen dalam memotivasi siswa sangat penting, sehingga mampu menumbuhkan minat dan semangat siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen.
